Medication Services. 4.1. All required over the counter (OTC) and prescription medications shall be supplied by the CONTRACTOR. As instructed by CONTRACTOR staff psychiatrist or designated medical provider, CONTRACTOR shall supervise clients as they take their medications to assure that the Client’s physician’s orders are being followed. CONTRACTOR shall document the administration of medication, the client’s response to the medication, and any adverse side effects experienced by the client. Phone calls from physicians regarding prescriptions or orders shall only be received by licensed personnel and shall be logged on the client’s chart. The client’s chart shall be signed by both the CONTRACTOR licensed staff who took the information, and the CONTRACTOR’s staff psychiatrist, within seven (7) days from the time the telephone orders were received.
