Maintenance of Salary. An employee absent from work during regular working hours for the purposes of attending courses directly or indirectly related to his/her work and in which the College has directed or approved his/her participation shall not suffer any loss of pay with respect to his/her regular straight time hourly earnings during the period of any such absences.
