MDHB will build on its significant achievements to date, in particular its investment in developing primary and community care services and relationships. MDHB will continue to transform its specialist and hospital services, improving patient experience, decreasing length of stay, improving productivity in theatres, and managing demand. MDHB will increasingly look to work with intersectoral partners to improve the health and wellbeing of its community, with particular reference to vulnerable and high needs population groups.
