Late Arrival/ Early Dismissal. An employee may be permitted to arrive up to fifteen (15) minutes later than his normal reporting time or may be permitted to leave work up to fifteen (15) minutes prior to his normal quitting time without being charged such time off. However, the combination of these late arrival/ early dismissal times shall be limited to a total of five (5) occurrences per school year. Any employee who needs to arrive late or leave early must present a legitimate reason and must secure administrative approval. Such request for approval must be noted on the sick leave form.

Late Arrival/ Early Dismissal. Students must always sign out at the attendance office when leaving the building during the school day and must always sign in when arriving late for school. If a student leaves school property for any reason without signing out, the absence will be considered unexcused and a detention may be assigned. For funerals or any of the other above-mentioned reasons, parental permission must be secured in advance. Immediately upon returning to school, report to the attendance office to obtain an excused pass to class. Reasons other than those listed above can be excused at the discretion of the administrator. Students who become ill during the school day must report to the Attendance Office. Failure to do so could result in an unexcused absence.

  • Early Dismissal DTU representatives and/or elective officers shall be permitted to leave the work location at 4:15 p.m., if assigned to administrative buildings, and at the time students are dismissed, if assigned to a school center, in order to attend DTU meetings. Those leaving to attend such meetings must advise the administrator in charge reasonably in advance of such meetings.

Should an employee dispute any such entry in his/her file, he/she shall be entitled to recourse through the Grievance Procedure and the eventual resolution thereof shall become part of his/her personal record.
