Insurance Benefits for Part-Time Employees. All health and :insurance benefit premiums costs paid by the Employer shall in accordance with the proration formula under Article of this Agreement. The Employer agrees to pay one hundred percent (100%) of the billed rate, whichever is applicable, of the premium for the Province of Ontario. This shall be payable by the Employer to all present employees on the basis of their current part- icipation in the plan through the Company payroll and to all new employees who join the Group. The Employer shall pay one hundred percent (100%) of the premium of semi-private coverage.
Insurance Benefits for Part-Time Employees. 1. All members of the bargaining unit hired prior to July 1, 2016, under contract for 17 or more but fewer than 20 hours/week shall be eligible for full benefits of any/all portions of the insurance package, with the Board paying 50% of the premium. Those working 10 or more but fewer than 17 hours/week shall be eligible for full benefits of any/all portions of the insurance package with the Board paying 25% of the premium. Insurance Benefits for Part-Time Employees. ‌‌ Part-time employees regularly employed on the basis of a work week of twenty-five (25) or more hours shall have the option of receiving the insurance benefits set forth in this Article.
Insurance Benefits for Part-Time Employees. The Annualized Amount shall be prorated for part-time unit members based upon the ratio of their employment to full-time employment. Unit members who have a regular assignment of six hours or more, shall receive the benefits up to the annualized amount for a full time employee. The proration will be based upon the total number of hours the part-time employee is paid per day in comparison to an eight-hour day. Additionally, the District shall increase that proration amount by 5%. The employee may elect to apply the District contribution proration to any one or more of the insurance benefits, but is not required to take any insurance benefit. Any portion of the proration that is unused will remain with the District unless enrolled in the HDHP-2 plan option. The part-time employee may also elect to have the premium payments prorated in accordance with the current practice.
