Hotel Employee Level 5. Employees at this level have substantial prior experience and approved qualifications and can demonstrate skills to undertake tasks to the employer’s standards. Employees must have a detailed understanding of the workplace and industry and are able to provide detailed advice and information on the employer’s products and services and are able to respond to customer and/or supplier problems within their functional area. Employees utilise a high degree of interpersonal skills and provide guidance to other employees, check and allocate work and supervise and train staff. Indicative duties at this level, in addition to level 4 duties, include: supervision of lower level employees, responsibility for a specific area of the hotel, control of rostering, preparation of cash payment summaries, banking reports and bank statements, calculation and maintenance of wage and salary records, following credit referral procedures, applying purchasing and inventory control requirements, posting journals to ledger, etc. Job titles associated with this level include: Senior Administration Officer, Duty Manager/Qualified Supervisor.

  • Termination of Employment Executive's employment hereunder may be terminated under the following circumstances:

  • Sick Leave The employee is eligible for long term disability benefits if provided for in the Collective Agreement. An employee will not receive pay for the first two (2) weeks of any period of absence due to a legitimate illness. The employee may utilize the paid holiday bank as income replacement for absences due to illness, as described in Article (c) above. An employee who is eligible may apply for Employment Insurance for weeks three (3) through seventeen (17) for any absence due to a legitimate illness. The Home will provide the employee with Disability Income Protection as per Article 14.01 (c) for weeks eighteen (18) through thirty (30) for any absence due to a legitimate illness. Employees may be required to provide medical proof of illness for any absence of a scheduled shift, which is neither vacation nor an approved leave of absence.

  • Vacation During the Employment Period, the Executive shall be entitled to paid vacation in accordance with the most favorable plans, policies, programs and practices of the Company and its affiliated companies as in effect for the Executive at any time during the 120-day period immediately preceding the Effective Date or, if more favorable to the Executive, as in effect generally at any time thereafter with respect to other peer executives of the Company and its affiliated companies.

  • Disability If, as a result of the Executive's incapacity due to physical or mental illness, the Executive shall have been absent from his duties with the Company on a full-time basis for six months and within 30 days after written notice of termination is thereafter given by the Company the Executive shall not have returned to the full-time performance of the Executive's duties, the Company may terminate this Agreement for "Disability."

  • Wages A transferring employee will be paid in accordance with the collective agreement of the designated employer.

  • Change in Control For purposes of this Agreement, a "Change in Control" shall mean any of the following events:

  • Employment Company hereby employs Executive, and Executive hereby accepts such employment, upon the terms and conditions set forth herein.

  • Long Service Leave All employees shall be entitled to long service leave in accordance with the relevant State Legislation. The employer will ensure that any registration necessary for the purposes of portable long service schemes will be undertaken.

  • Salary No salary will be paid to a Member for the performance of his or her duties under this Agreement unless the salary has been approved in writing by a Majority of the Members.

  • Scope of Services The specific scope of work for each job shall be determined in advance and in writing between TIPS Member, Member’s design professionals and Vendor. It is permitted for the TIPS Member to provide a general scope description, but the awarded vendor should provide a written scope of work, and if applicable, according to the TIPS Member’s design Professional as part of the proposal. Once the scope of the job is agreed to, the TIPS Member will issue a PO and/or an Agreement or Contract with the Job Order Contract Proposal referenced or as an attachment along with bond and any other special provisions agreed by the TIPS Member. If special terms and conditions other than those covered within this solicitation and awarded Agreements are required, they will be attached to the PO and/or an Agreement or Contract and shall take precedence over those in this base TIPS Vendor Agreement.
