Granting of Days. A member of the Bank may be granted days from the Bank under the following conditions:

Granting of Days a. The number of days requested from the Bank must be specified at the time of the request. It may not exceed thirty (30) days, except in the case of chronic or acute illness of a long term nature, as determined by the sick bank committee. Days granted, but not used, will be returned to the Bank at the end of the school year.
Granting of Days. The initial grant of sick leave days from the Bank shall not exceed forty (40) days, after which the professional employee may reapply for no more than an additional twenty (20) days. Requests for Sick Leave Bank days shall be submitted, in writing, to the Sick Leave Bank Committee, and shall include a written statement from the professional employee's physician indicating the nature and the extent of the illness or injury and the estimated time that the professional employee will be absent from work.

In administering the Bank and determining the amount of leave, the following general criteria shall be applied by the Committee:

  • Counting of Days Except where otherwise specifically provided, any reference in this Note to a period of "days" means calendar days, not Business Days.

  • Definition of Days A day shall mean calendar days, however, where a deadline occurs on a Saturday, Sunday or Holiday (as identified in Article 25), the deadline shall be extended to the next normal business day.

  • Time of Day Unless otherwise specified, all references herein to times of day shall be references to Eastern time (daylight or standard, as applicable).

  • Number of Days In computing the number of days for purposes of this Agreement, all days shall be counted, including Saturdays, Sundays and holidays; provided, however, that if the final day of any time period falls on a Saturday, Sunday or holiday on which federal banks are or may elect to be closed, then the final day shall be deemed to be the next day which is not a Saturday, Sunday or such holiday.

  • Length of Day The total workday shall consist of not more than 7 hours and 45 minutes and shall include a scheduled duty-free lunch period as provided to employees or SUCCESS employees under Subsection 3 of this Article.

  • Role of Dalmore Client acknowledges and agrees that Client will rely on Client’s own judgment in using Dalmore’ Services. Dalmore (i) makes no representations with respect to the quality of any investment opportunity or of any issuer; (ii) does not guarantee the performance to and of any Investor; (iii) will make commercially reasonable efforts to perform the Services in accordance with its specifications; (iv) does not guarantee the performance of any party or facility which provides connectivity to Dalmore; and (v) is not an investment adviser, does not provide investment advice and does not recommend securities transactions and any display of data or other information about an investment opportunity, does not constitute a recommendation as to the appropriateness, suitability, legality, validity or profitability of any transaction. Nothing in this Agreement should be construed to create a partnership, joint venture, or employer-employee relationship of any kind.

  • Taking of Annual Leave (a) An employee is entitled to take an amount of annual leave during a particular period if:

  • Interest Payment and Computation Interest on each Base Rate Loan shall be due and payable in arrears on the last Business Day of each calendar quarter commencing December 31, 2011; and interest on each LIBOR Rate Loan shall be due and payable on the last day of each Interest Period applicable thereto, and if such Interest Period extends over three (3) months, at the end of each three (3) month interval during such Interest Period. All computations of interest for Base Rate Loans when the Base Rate is determined by the Prime Rate shall be made on the basis of a year of 365 or 366 days, as the case may be, and actual days elapsed. All other computations of fees and interest provided hereunder shall be made on the basis of a 360-day year and actual days elapsed (which results in more fees or interest, as applicable, being paid than if computed on the basis of a 365/366-day year).

  • Taking of Leave (a) Annual leave shall be given and shall be taken within a period of six months after the date when the right to annual leave accrued; provided that the giving and taking of such leave may be postponed by mutual agreement between the parties for a further period not exceeding six months.

  • No Legal Action There is no action or proceeding (whether, for greater certainty, by a Governmental Entity or any other Person) pending or threatened in any jurisdiction to:
