FTO Compensation. Field Training Officers (FTO) shall receive 0.1 (one tenth) of an hour of overtime for each hour they have a trainee assigned to them, subject to the restrictions stated in Section 19.4.
FTO Compensation. Officers assigned as FTOs shall be compensated 8% per hour above top patrolman wage.
FTO Compensation. For each (8) eight hours an employee is assigned field training officer duty, he/she shall receive one half (1/2) hour of overtime.
FTO Compensation. A supervisor shall be compensated two (2) hours of additional pay at the supervisor's current hourly rate for each shift or partial shift the supervisor is assigned to work as a Field Training Officer with a trainee, Community Service Officer or a CERT member. This includes initial orientation, firearms, Taser, use of force training, or evaluation of the trainee.
FTO Compensation. Field Training Officers shall be compensated with two (2) hours of pay for each shift they are assigned to train a recruit officer.
FTO Compensation. Police officers required to serve in the capacity of a Field Training Officer (F.T.O.) shall be compensated with an additional one and one half (1.5) hours of overtime pay, along with their regular pay, for every eight (8) hours worked in one work day in an F.T.O. capacity. Police Officers assigned to ten (10) hour shifts and required to serve in the capacity of F.T.O. shall be compensated with an additional 1.8 hours of overtime pay, along with their regular pay, for every ten (10) hours worked in one day in an F.T.O. capacity.
FTO Compensation. Officers assigned to Field Training Officer duties shall be paid an additional three percent (3%) of base pay year-round.
