Family Sickness. A leave of absence without pay or increment of up to one (1) school year may be granted for the purpose of caring for a sick member of the teacher's immediate family.
Family Sickness. Sick leave may be used to cover absence, not to exceed fourteen (14) days per fiscal year, due to the illness of a member of the immediate family of the employee or to enable the staff member to be with members of the immediate family when an emergency occurs due to illness, or accident.
Family Sickness. Xxxx leave may be used to cover absence, due to the illness, injury or health condition of a member of the immediate family of the employee or to enable the staff member to be with members of the immediate family when an emergency occurs due to illness, or accident, the Oregon Military Family Leave Act, and certain situations related to domestic violence, harassment, sexual assault or stalking as defined by federal or state law in the event of a public health emergency as defined by law.
Family Sickness. Leave-of-absence without pay of up to one year may be granted for the purpose of caring for such a member of a teacher’s immediate family as defined in Article XII, Section B or a significant friend living outside of the household. In the event the teacher taking such leave works more than half of the school year in the year in which such leave is granted, said teacher will be eligible for an increment.
Family Sickness. Leave to be deducted from leave credit for employees taking leave due to serious illness in their immediate family. * * Immediate family shall mean spouse, child, father, mother, father-in-law, mother-in-law, brother or sister, grandparents, grandchildren, or other members of the immediate household. In other cases of close family relationship the Superintendent must approve such absences.
Family Sickness. 1. Every employee shall be entitled to use five (5) days of accumulated sick leave per year during required absence from work because of the serious illness of the employee's spouse, children or parents.
Family Sickness. (A) Employees may use one-half of their annual allotted personal sick leave when sickness occurs in their immediate family or those extended family members residing with or directly dependent upon the employee.
Family Sickness. A leave of absence without pay of up to one (1) year may be granted for the purpose of caring for a sick member of the paraprofessional’s/non-instructional aide’s immediate family.
Family Sickness. In the event of sickness in the family of an employee--spouse, children, parents, grandparents, siblings of the employee and/or spouse and any other member of the immediate household--the employee shall upon request be granted a leave of absence. The absence shall be deducted from the employees accumulated sick leave balance. Such leave shall be limited to a three (3) day maximum. Such leave shall be limited to fifteen (15) days in a school year.
Family Sickness. Any number of the fifteen (15) days of sick leave per year may be used for illness in the employee’s family. As used in this paragraph, "family" is defined as meaning parent, spouse and children. It is understood and agreed that no part of an employee’s accumulated sick leave may be used for family illness as it is for personal illness only.
