Face Covering Requirements. 3.01 Face coverings are required to be worn properly at all times by all individuals on a school campus indoors or outdoors, unless a staff member or student has a medical exemption. This applies to all staff, students, administrators, and any visitors on campus. District shall develop and share with staff a plan to deal with students and others who are not in compliance with the face covering requirements.

This applies to all staff, all students in grades TK- 8, all administrators, and any visitors on campus over two years of age. Students may be exempted for health reasons under applicable federal, state or county guidelines.

Face coverings are required to be worn properly at all times by all individuals on a school campus indoors or outdoors (except when alone in a personal work area, office, or classroom). When leaving individual spaces and entering or passing in common areas, staff must wear face coverings at this time. The expectations regarding face coverings and safety protocols will be presented to the staff during the District's safety training. This applies to all staff, all students in grades 3-12, all administrators, and any visitors on campus over two years of age. Students in grade Preschool-2 shall be strongly encouraged to wear face coverings. Before the beginning of the school year, the District shall develop and share with staff a plan to address students in grades 3-12, and others who are not in compliance with the face covering requirements. In addition, this plan will be communicated to students and families prior to being allowed access to district facilities.
Face Covering Requirements. 2.05 All unit members shall wear a face covering (mask or face shield) that meets current Public Health Guidelines and is appropriate for a school setting while at work/school except when in their own private work areas with no one else present. Some situations may require an exception. These situations will be handled on an individual case basis. A unit member may obtain a District approved exemption based on the needs of the individual, consistent with Public Health Guidelines. Unit members with health concerns that make wearing a face covering problematic agree to contact the Human Resources office. Upon request, the District will provide face coverings/face xxxxxxx to unit members.

Face coverings are required to be worn at all times by all adults on a SCCOE worksite, school campus or academic enrichment center while indoors or outdoors, except while eating or drinking. Face coverings are not required when an adult is alone in an office, classroom, or other space.

To reduce the number of COVID-19 exposures, illnesses, and absences, and to protect the health and safety of staff and students, the District shall require face coverings to be worn properly by all individuals on a school campus while indoors and outdoors when Board directed. The exceptions to wearing a mask are when staff are alone in a room. Before the beginning of the school year, the District shall develop and share with staff a plan to address students and others who are not in compliance with the face covering requirements.
