Pay Benefits. The employee assigned by the Fire Chief or designee to Stand-By Duty shall be entitled to stand- by pay at the rate of one-quarter (1/4) of their base hourly rate for each one (1) hour period of stand-by duty. When an employee is called back to work while on stand-by duty, stand-by pay shall stop and the employee shall be paid at their time and one-half (1½) hourly rate from the time of the page or call. The provisions of Article C, Paragraph 3 of this Agreement shall apply. When an employee is no longer required to be on duty, employee may be placed back on stand-by duty status or released to off-duty status.

Pay Benefits. SECTION 1. - Upon retirement, death, resignation, or termination, employees shall be paid for all accumulated but unpaid vacation, sick leave, compensatory time, holiday pay, regular pay, overtime pay and longevity pay owed to them as of the last date of employment. In case of death, the above payments shall be made to the employee's estate or designated survivor.
