Excessive Travel a) It is recognized that in some situations travel might be excessive. In these cases, the preference is for the supervisor and the employee to arrive at a mutual agreement as to what constitutes "excessive". This determination should be based on the following considerations: • the amount of travel time that is required (hours per day, week and month) • the choice of travel options • the cost of travel choice/option • if the employee travels with PWU employees (i.e., internal relativity) • the time above and beyond the employee's normal travel time between home and normal work headquarters • the desire to compensate for travel time with time off Where there is no mutual agreement, excessive travel time shall be defined as follows and compensated at straight time: • the travel time in excess of one hour at the beginning and end of the normal scheduled day and greater than the employee's normal travel time; OR • where the daily rate is not exceeded, the travel time in excess of five hours per week greater than the employee's normal travel time; OR • where neither the daily nor weekly rate is exceeded, the travel time in excess of twenty (20) hours per month greater than the employee's normal travel time.

Excessive Travel a) a) Travel Time at the beginning and the end of the normally scheduled day will be compensated at straight time for the normal average travel time to the destination, less one hour each way. Where an employee can demonstrate that due to circumstances beyond their control (e.g. weather conditions…) their travel time was in excess of the normal average travel time to a destination they will be compensated for the additional travel time incurred at straight time.

  • Preservative-treated Wood Containing Arsenic Contractor may not purchase preservative-treated wood products containing arsenic in the performance of this Agreement unless an exemption from the requirements of Chapter 13 of the San Francisco Environment Code is obtained from the Department of the Environment under Section 1304 of the Code. The term “preservative-treated wood containing arsenic” shall mean wood treated with a preservative that contains arsenic, elemental arsenic, or an arsenic copper combination, including, but not limited to, chromated copper arsenate preservative, ammoniacal copper zinc arsenate preservative, or ammoniacal copper arsenate preservative. Contractor may purchase preservative-treated wood products on the list of environmentally preferable alternatives prepared and adopted by the Department of the Environment. This provision does not preclude Contractor from purchasing preservative-treated wood containing arsenic for saltwater immersion. The term “saltwater immersion” shall mean a pressure-treated wood that is used for construction purposes or facilities that are partially or totally immersed in saltwater.

  • Transporting Students Teachers shall not be required to transport a student in a private vehicle on behalf of the school.

  • Containers The marine and intermodal cargo containers either owned or leased by the Borrower and employed by the Borrower in the conduct of its business, including, without limitation, refrigerated, dry van, tank, open top and flat rack containers and refrigeration units and generator sets associated therewith, but excluding any chassis for such containers.

  • Products Products available under this Contract are limited to Software, including Software as a Service, products and related products as specified in Appendix C, Pricing Index. Vendor may incorporate changes to their product offering; however, any changes must be within the scope of products awarded based on the posting described in Section 1.B above. Vendor may not add a manufacturer’s product line which was not included in the Vendor’s response to the solicitation described in Section 1.B above.

  • Firearms The Resident agrees to comply with University policy which states that firearms are not allowed on University property, and acknowledges that California Penal Code section 626.9 prohibits the possession of firearms on University of California property.

  • Quantities The estimated quantities provided by the City are not guaranteed. These quantities are listed for informational purposes only. Quantities vary depending on the demands of the City. Any variations from the estimated quantities shall not entitle the bidder to an adjustment in the unit price or any additional compensation.

  • Weapons (1) If the Contractor requests that its personnel performing in the USCENTCOM AOR be authorized to carry weapons for individual self-defense, the request shall be made through the Contracting Officer to the Combatant Commander, in accordance with DoD Instruction 3020.41. The Combatant Commander will determine whether to authorize in-theater contractor personnel to carry weapons and what weapons and ammunition will be allowed.

  • Consumables During the design phase, Purchaser may participate in the selection of suppliers of consumables of the Supplier. In such case, the choice regarding the final selection of the said suppliers shall be mutually agreed between the Parties. Two suppliers shall be identified and selected for each type of consumables.

  • Explosives Explosives or other highly flammable substances shall not be stored on Railroad's property without the prior written approval of Railroad.

  • Instructors 7.1 All instructors teaching Xxxxxx College courses offered as part of this CCAP Agreement must meet the minimum qualifications for instruction in a California community college as set forth in Title 5 California Code of Regulations, Sections 53410 and 58060 or as amended, and be hired by the CLPCCD.
