Confined Spaces Allowance. 21.4.1. Where a Technician is required to work in a confined space that requires the Technician to be stopped or cramped or without proper ventilation the Technician will be entitled to claim a payment of $0.57 for each completed hour of work under such conditions.
Confined Spaces Allowance. CQUniversity has an obligation to provide a work environment without risks to health and safety, so far as is reasonably practicable. This obligation includes eliminating or minimising, so far as is reasonably practicable, the risks presented by working in confined spaces and other restricted areas. Employees required to enter and work within a confined space must comply with the relevant CQUni procedure, in addition to AS 2865-2009. An employee required to work in a confined space (as defined in the relevant CQUni procedure) will be paid $0.80 cents per hour or part thereof.
Confined Spaces Allowance. An Associate working on any Confined Spaces permit shall for the time involved in such activities be paid an allowance per hour as per Appendix No 1 with entitlements calculated on an hourly basis to the nearest hour. Where the work extends beyond four hours on any day, the allowance shall apply for the entire shift.

  • Shoe Allowance The Employer will provide reimbursement to full time employees who have completed probation and who are employed in the kitchen and stewarding departments, once per year in the amount of $60.00 and once every two years in the amount of $60.00 for maintenance and banquet housepersons. The amount shall increase to $75, effective January 1, 2007. Employees will receive said amount as long as the shoes are approved by the employer and as long as the shoes are worn on the job.
