Essential Equipment Sample Clauses

The Essential Equipment clause defines the specific tools, devices, or materials that are necessary for the performance of a contract or the completion of a particular task. It typically lists or describes the required equipment, clarifies which party is responsible for providing or maintaining it, and may set standards for its condition or suitability. By clearly outlining these requirements, the clause helps prevent disputes over what is needed for the job and ensures that all parties are adequately prepared to fulfill their obligations.
Essential Equipment. Equipment, as identified by the Contractor in their proposal, is equipment the Contractor has determined as essential for completion of the applicable Scope of Work.
Essential Equipment. A strong waterproof bag is required to keep a student’s possessions safe and clean. It will need to be big enough to carry all work books and materials for each day. Only rucksacks, satchels, despatch type bags and large tote bags are allowed. Bags must not have large buckles or protruding metal features. Students are expected to wear full College uniform at all times and abide by the rules. Full College uniform must be worn to and from College. Whilst wearing the Kingsthorpe College uniform, students are representing the College in the local community. Any behaviour out of College which falls short of our expectations whilst wearing our uniform and which brings the College’s reputation into disrepute may result in disciplinary action by the College. Students must have a parental note if they are, temporarily, not able to wear an item of uniform. They should report, with this note, to their Year Office where a temporary uniform exemption form will be issued. The student should be back in full uniform as soon as possible if a replacement item is needed to rectify the problem. If a student deliberately fails to wear the full College uniform or the student contravenes hair or jewellery expectations, they will be removed from lessons and recreation time until the non-uniform item is rectified. Parents and carers will be notified. Students will need a pencil case with at least two pens, two pencils, a rubber, and a pencil sharpener. A ruler is essential and a set of coloured pencils is also useful. A calculator for maths and science is also required.

Essential Equipment. UIAA certified Climbing Helmet (these are available from the grotto.) - Electric headlamp (these are available from the grotto) Bring your own fresh, new “AA” batteries as well as backups. LED lamps extend battery life. - Two backup light sources - small flashlights or headlamps work well. Bring extra batteries. All together, you should have THREE sources of light bright enough to exit the cave and two of the light sources need to be helmet mounted. - Old rugged clothing. Sturdy synthetic clothing is strongly recommended for warmth when wet. Synthetic coveralls are preferred by many cavers as they don't come untucked. No Tyvec or disposable garments allowed. Check with your trip leader regarding cave conditions so you can choose suitable clothing. Consider the outside conditions - will you be hiking 2 miles in 10 degree weather? Will you be scrambling up long hills in 95 degree weather? - Thermal layering underwear. Synthetic or wool under-layers, fleece for cold caves or if you get cold easily. NO COTTON DOWN TO YOUR SKIN- it provides no warmth if you get wet and wet cotton makes you very vulnerable to hypothermia - the saying is that "cotton kills!" Bring an extra synthetic or wool top - fleece perhaps - in case the trip is colder then you anticipated.
