Emergency Security Services. The Hirer, his agents and servants will not hinder or obstruct in the exercise of their duties at the Venue any member of the medical or nursing profession, police force or security officer employed or authorised by the Owner or fire brigade, ambulance service, first aid service or other emergency evacuation procedures; and
Emergency Security Services. The Contractor shall furnish fully qualified PSOs, management, supervision, equipment, supplies and any other cost for sustained emergency surge security force services. Deployments may be to large and small-scale events such as natural disasters, civil disturbances, or other unanticipated events on an as- needed basis. The requirements under the “ESS ” Contract Line Item Number (CLIN) shall be ordered for anywhere in the geographic area covered under this contract with little, if any, advance notice. The hourly rate for emergency PSO services shall be inclusive of all costs (including, but not limited to, travel costs, per diem, lodging, mileage, and vehicles) directly related to or incidental to providing service at locations the Government will specify when ordered. There will be no “phase-in” period for these requirements. The contractor shall have sufficient, fully qualified staff to meet all requirements ordered under the ESS CLIN at any time. (NOTE: It is possible that the government may order all estimated hours in a single emergency event. The contractor may use reserve forces to fulfill ESS requirements, however, the use of reserve forces to meet ESS requirements will not relieve the contractor of the requirement to maintain a sufficient reserve force to provide all services under the contract to include ongoing Basic Services and TAS requirements.) The requirements ordered under the emergency force service CLIN(s) will be for no more than 120 days of service. Thereafter, provided the Government notifies the Contractor within 30 days before the expiration of the emergency force service task order, any continuing long-term requirements for those same post/locations shall be at the basic hourly rates specified for fixed posts/facilities within the contract.

  • Security Services CONTRACTOR shall provide security services designed for preventing escapes, maintaining order, providing care, custody, control, supervision and management of the inmate population. A successful security program depends heavily on staff training, effective administration, and the establishment of inmate programs. The organization, staffing, and administration of the security program are vital to the Facility. The direction provided by a well-organized and clearly articulated operations manual, and emergency planning provides a solid base for successful administration. The final operations manual shall be submitted to the Bureau prior to the Service Commencement Date and shall be reviewed annually and updated as needed. Documentation of the review shall be provided annually to the On- Site Contract Monitor. Changes to the plan require written permission by the Contract Manager. The Department reserves the right to require changes to plans submitted to the Bureau.

  • Emergency Medical Services The City’s Fire Department and MedStar (or other entity engaged by the City after the Effective Date) will provide emergency medical services.

  • Emergency Service Leave ‌ Where employees' services are required for emergency operations by request from the Provincial Emergency Program or appropriate police authority, leave from work as required may be granted without loss of basic pay. If any remuneration, other than for expenses, is received, it shall be remitted to the Employer.

  • Pharmacy Services The Contractor shall establish a network of pharmacies. The Contractor or its PBM must provide at least two (2) pharmacy providers within thirty (30) miles or thirty (30) minutes from a member’s residence in each county, as well as at least two (2) durable medical equipment providers in each county or contiguous county.

  • Emergency Situations If the condition is an emergency, this will be communicated to the Contractor with the request that corrections are to be accomplished immediately. The Contractor shall respond to the notice in emergency situations within twenty-four hours. If the Contractor fails to respond within this time limit, the Owner may correct the defect and charge the Contractor for the Work. If it is determined the complaint is not the responsibility of the Contractor, the Contractor shall be promptly paid for the cost of the corrective work. The Contractor shall give notice in writing to the Owner when corrections have been completed.

  • Emergency Room Services This plan covers services received in a hospital emergency room when needed to stabilize or initiate treatment in an emergency. If your condition needs immediate or urgent, but non-emergency care, contact your PCP or use an urgent care center. This plan covers bandages, crutches, canes, collars, and other supplies incidental to your treatment in the emergency room as part of our allowance for the emergency room services. Additional services provided in the emergency room such as radiology or physician consultations are covered separately from emergency room services and may require additional copayments. The amount you pay is based on the type of service being rendered. Follow-up care services, such as suture removal, fracture care or wound care, received at the emergency room will require an additional emergency room copayment. Follow- up care services can be obtained from your primary care provider or a specialist. See Dental Services in Section 3 for information regarding emergency dental care services.
