Reserve Forces Sample Clauses
Reserve Forces. Regular employees who are members of Reserve Forces of the Canadian Armed Forces may be granted leave of absence to attend annual training (normally two weeks in duration). If such leave is granted, Inergi will maintain the employee’s health and dental benefits and will pay the employee the difference between the gross amount of pay received from the Armed Forces and his/her normal base earnings for this period.
Reserve Forces. 31.01 The Parties agree to cooperate to facilitate broad and liberal leaves for operations and training military leave for workers who serve as members of the Canadian Forces Reserves, in accordance with provincial and federal law and the “Declaration of Support for the Reserve Force” signed by the Canadian Office of the Building and Construction Trades Department and the National Construction Labour Relations Alliance, dated May 12th, 2010.
Reserve Forces. Associates will not suffer financial loss as a result of attending Reserve Forces training camps. The maximum period for which this policy applies is 2 weeks per annum. The Associate should provide proof of attendance and amount of payment received. The Operations Manager will authorise make-up payment to normal base rate (including shift allowance where applicable) via a Personnel Change Form.
Reserve Forces. 35.1 Employees who are members of military reserve units will be granted time off with full benefits for active duty training up to a maximum of fifteen (15) shifts per year.
35.2 An employee who is a bona fide member of a civic group may, at the Chief’s discretion, be granted time off to attend mission functions. Said time off shall be debited from the employee’s vacation and/or holiday totals.
Reserve Forces. Employees in the Reserve Forces shall continue to accrue seniority and service for up to 36 months when called into active duty.
