Contract of carriage. Contract at his own expense for the carriage of the goods from the named place, except as provided for in A.3.a).

Contract of carriage. § 1. In accordance with the contract of carriage, the carrier shall undertake to carry the passenger and luggage to the place of destination and to deliver the luggage to the consignor or consignee, while the passenger and/or consignor must pay the charge laid down.

Contract of carriage a contract concluded by the consignor or consignee of the cargo for the carriage thereof via the agreed route. For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions, a cont- ract of carriage shall also mean the contract entered into in order to organise the carriage, or any other goods handling contract entered into in connection with the carriage of the in- sured cargo.
