Compensation of Shop Stewards While Engaged in Union Activity. Except as specifically provided a shop xxxxxxx shall not receive additional compensation from the City for duties as a shop xxxxxxx. For the purpose of investigating and presenting a grievance under the grievance procedure set forth in Article 6 of this Agreement, a shop xxxxxxx may, with the prior permission of their immediate supervisor, meet with an employee during working hours provided it does not interfere with the employee's or xxxxxxx'x work assignment. The City will pay such shop xxxxxxx, at the straight time rate of pay for such shop xxxxxxx'x designated job classification, for scheduled work hours lost in investigation and presentation of a grievance.

Compensation of Shop Stewards While Engaged in Union Activity. A shop xxxxxxx shall not receive additional compensation from the Library District for his or her duties as shop xxxxxxx. For the purpose of investigating a grievance under the Grievance Procedure as set forth in Article 10 of this Agreement, a shop xxxxxxx may meet with an employee during working hours provided it does not unreasonably interfere with the xxxxxxx’x or employee's work duties and such investigation occurs in non-working areas, during the employee’s non-working time. The Library District will pay such shop xxxxxxx at the regular rate of pay for such shop xxxxxxx'x designated job classification, for scheduled work lost in presentation of a grievance.
Compensation of Shop Stewards While Engaged in Union Activity. The Shop Stewards and their alternates shall not be compensated by the Company for his duties as a Shop Xxxxxxx unless requested by the Company. A Union Official shall be given the ability to address the students in each training class with a maximum of forty-five (45) minutes per training class. A Company official may be present during such presentation. This will be a mutually agreed upon time.

  • Supervisory Employees For the purposes of this Article, the parties agree that Supervisory positions are those that are not excluded under Article 2.0 above and that satisfy the following criteria:

  • Time Off for Union Activities A. Conventions and Conferences Union-designated employees may be allowed time off without pay to attend union-sponsored conventions or conferences. Approval for the time off must be granted in advance of the absence and in accordance with the Employer’s leave policies.   • CLASSIFICATION OF EMPLOYEES Section 1. A full-time employee shall be deemed to be any employee regularly scheduled to work forty (40) hours per week. A regular employee is one whose employment is reasonably expected to continue for longer than fifteen (15) months.

  • PROFESSIONAL COMPENSATION A. The basic salaries of teachers covered by this Agreement are set forth in Appendix A which is attached to and incorporated in this Agreement. Such salary schedule shall remain in effect during the designated periods.
