Annual Shift/Schedule. Bid Shifts/Schedules available for bid shall be posted a minimum of fourteen (14) calendar days prior to the beginning of the bid selection. The annual shift/schedules shall be posted (hard copy and/or electronically) in a conspicuous location in the workplace, and bids shall start on the first Monday of October and be completed within twenty-one (21) calendar days. Starting with seniority based on date of hire, the shift/schedule bid shall progress to the least senior person. Each selection shall be made during the employee's shift, when contacted by the supervisor, unless the employee is not on shift when their turn comes to bid due to scheduled days off. Employees whose bid is expected to come up on their regular scheduled days off can either provide a contact phone number to make their bid by phone or leave their shift bid preferences with a supervisor who will make their bid selection, in order of preference. In the event the employee is on sick, holiday or annual leave at the time of the annual shift bid, the employee will make prior arrangements with their supervisor to make their bid. The new shift/schedule will be implemented on the beginning of the first pay period in February. If annual shift/schedule bidding has been completed and a vacancy occurs, the process will be bid, bid, appoint. Once an employee has made their shift bid and it is awarded, it cannot be changed during that bidding process.

  • Shift Schedule The words "shift schedule" when used in this Agreement shall mean a timetable of the shifts and off days assigned to a position or group of positions which commences at the beginning of a pay period and includes one complete rotation of said shifts.

  • Budget Schedule Subrecipient agrees that the expenditures of any and all funds under this Contract will be in accordance with the Budget Schedule, a copy of which is attached hereto as Attachment C, and which by this reference is incorporated herein and made a part hereof as if fully set forth.

  • Additional Shifts 32.1 The Employer is committed to maximising its permanent workforce in line with its occupancy levels. The Employer will always offer additional shifts in the first instance to its permanent part-time staff where practicable. It will then offer additional shifts to its casual or bank staff, where applicable.

  • Salary Schedule Progression Employees shall progress from step to step in salary grade on the basis of satisfactory job performance based upon established standards of performance. Seasonal employee's initial anniversary date shall be established after being in pay status for two thousand eighty (2,080) hours. Such date shall then be used for annual performance evaluation and step progression consideration. When an employee's anniversary date falls on any day from the first day of a pay week through Wednesday of the pay week, the employee's merit increase shall be effective as of the first day of the pay week within which the anniversary date falls. Otherwise, the merit increase shall be effective on the first day of the next pay week. Grievances arising from the denial of merit increases shall not be arbitrable under this Agreement but shall be processed as follows:

  • Salary Schedule The scale of remuneration set out in Schedule "A" shall apply during the term of this Agreement. Any changes in salary rates or the classifications as outlined in Schedule "A" shall not be put into effect until the Union Business Representative has been consulted.

  • Five Day Work Week Schedule When working under the five (5) day work week schedule, Employees shall receive one and one-half (1.5x) times their regular rate of pay for the first two (2) hours of overtime Monday through Friday. All other overtime Monday through Friday shall be paid at double time (2x).

  • Shift Schedules 1501 Shift schedules for a minimum of a four (4) week period shall be posted at least two (2) weeks in advance of the beginning of the scheduled period. Shifts within the minimum four (4) week period shall not be altered after posting except by mutual agreement between the nurse(s) concerned and the Employer. Requests for specific days off duty shall be submitted in writing at least two (2) weeks prior to posting and granted, if possible in the judgment of the Employer. 1502 Requests for interchanges in posted shifts or a portion thereof shall also be submitted in writing, co-signed by the nurse willing to exchange shifts with the applicant. Where reasonably possible, interchanges in posted shifts are to be completed within the posted shift schedule. It is understood that any change in shifts or days off initiated by the nurses and approved by the Employer shall not result in overtime costs to the Employer. 1503 Night shift shall be considered as the first shift of each calendar day. 1504 Master rotations for each nursing unit shall be planned by the Employer in meaningful consultation with the nurse(s) concerned. The process for meaningful consultation shall include:  Employer proposes a master rotation including the Employer established criteria and provides to Nurses concerned  Nurses are provided reasonable time to submit feedback and/or an alternate master rotation for consideration.  The amended or new master rotation is provided to Nurses for review. Nurses are provided with a reasonable time to submit feedback.  At each step of the consultation process the Union will be provided with the new or revised master rotation to ensure contract compliance.  Employer has the sole discretion to select the new master rotation and provides rationale for the selection. Master Rotations shall, unless otherwise mutually agreed between the nurse(s) concerned and the Employer, observe the conditions listed hereinafter:

  • Placement on Salary Schedule The following rules shall be applicable in determining placement of a teacher on the appropriate salary schedule:

  • Salary Schedules (a) The salary schedules shall be incorporated into this Agreement as Appendix V.
