Annual leave to be taken. The annual holiday shall be given by the employer and shall be taken by the employee before the expiration of a period of six months after the date upon which the right to such holiday accrues.

Annual leave to be taken. An Employee should take annual leave within 12 months of accrual, unless alternative arrangements are agreed with the College. An Employee should discuss with their manager a time for them to take annual leave. Leave should not accrue beyond eighteen months (i.e.: 6 weeks of annual leave accrued) unless alternative arrangements are agreed with the College. If an Employee accrues more than six weeks of annual leave, the College will work with that Employee to implement a plan for the Employee to take at least two weeks of annual leave.
