Higher Duties. 27.1 Where an Employee on any one day performs two or more classes of work to which different rates of pay are applicable, the Employer shall pay to the Employee the higher hourly rate for the entire day if the Employee is required to work in that class of work for more than 2 hours, and if for less than 2 hours during any one day the Employee will be paid the higher rate for the time so worked.
Higher Duties. An employee engaged on duties carrying a higher rate of wages than his/her ordinary classification, shall be paid the higher wage for the time so engaged.

Higher Duties. 10.2.1 A higher duties allowance shall be paid to an employee who, at the request of the employer is substantially performing the duties and carrying the responsibilities of a position or grade higher than the employee’s own.

A practitioner who is directed by the Employer to act in a position which carries a higher rate of pay than that which they usually perform, and who performs the full duties and accepts the full responsibility of the higher position for more than ten consecutive working days, shall be paid the higher rate whilst so engaged.
