Technology Transfer Activities definition

Technology Transfer Activities means the technology transfer activities set forth in Appendix C.
Technology Transfer Activities means the process of transferring scientific findings from the public sector to the private sector for the purpose of commercial development and application for personal or financial gain. “Technology transfer activities” may include creating joint ventures, limited partnerships, or other corporate forms; allocating equity shares, partnership interests, or other forms of participation; identifying new technologies; protecting technologies through patents and copyrights; forming development and commercialization strategies, arrangements, or projects; and other related activities.”
Technology Transfer Activities consist of activities that promote the use of technology derived from the CPES Core Research program. These activities include university and industry demonstrative hardware prototypes (instead of testbed programs); publications; conferences; seminars; workshops; short courses; technology transfer networks; development of undergraduate, graduate, and continuing education training programs. These activities may also include joint projects with industry, as well as other activities conducted as CPES Non-Core Research as deemed appropriate.
