Medical Affairs Activities definition

Medical Affairs Activities means, with respect to any country or other jurisdiction in the Territory, the coordination of medical information requests and field based medical scientific liaisons with respect to Licensed Compounds or Licensed Products, including activities of medical scientific liaisons and the provision of medical information services with respect to a Licensed Compound or Licensed Product.
Medical Affairs Activities means activities designed to ensure or improve appropriate medical use of, conduct medical education of, or further research regarding, the Product, including by way of example: (a) activities of medical scientific liaisons who, among their other functions, may: (i) conduct service based medical activities including providing input and assistance with consultancy meetings, proposing investigators for clinical trials sponsored or co-sponsored by a Party or Affiliate, and providing input in the design of such trials and other research related activities; and/or (ii) deliver non-promotional communications and conduct non-promotional activities; (b) grants to support continuing medical education, symposia, or Third Party research related to the Product; (c) development, publication and dissemination of publications relating to the Products; (d) medical information services provided in response to inquiries communicated via sales representatives or received by letter, phone call or email; (e) conducting advisory board meetings, international advisory board activities or other consultant programs, including the engagement of key opinion leaders and health care professional in individual or group advisory and consulting arrangements; and (f) the evaluation of applications submitted to Licensee for support of investigator-initiated trials.
Medical Affairs Activities means design, strategies, oversight and implementation of activities designed to ensure or improve appropriate medical use of, conduct medical education of, or further research regarding, the Licensed Product, including by way of example: (i) activities of Medical Liaisons, (ii) grants to support continuing independent medical education (including independent symposia and congresses), (iii) Non-Development Studies and medical studies, and (iv) Development, publication and dissemination of publications in support of an approved indication for the Licensed Product, as well as medical information services (and the content thereof) provided in response to inquiries communicated via the sales representatives or received by letter, phone call or email.

  • As between the Parties, AnaptysBio shall have the sole right, but not the obligation, to make publications regarding any Compound or Product, including with respect to Product Data, results of Clinical Studies and studies conducted as part of Medical Affairs Activities carried out under this Agreement, including oral or poster presentations and abstracts.

  • COMMERCIALIZATION AnaptysBio has the sole right, but not the obligation, for all Commercialization activities for each Compound and Product in the Field in the Territory, including without limitation development and implementation of a promotional strategy, handling all returns, recalls, order processing, invoicing, and collection, booking of sales, inventory and receivables, government/managed pricing programs and the conduct of all Medical Affairs Activities.

Medical Affairs Activities means responding to external inquiries or complaints, the planning for and conduct of investigator sponsored Clinical Trials not included in the Global Development Plan, medical education, speaker programs, advisory boards, thought leader activities, educational grants and fellowships, local country government affairs, phase 3b Clinical Trials, phase IV/post-Regulatory Approval Clinical Trials, generating health economics and outcomes research data from patient reported outcomes, prospective observational studies and retrospective observational studies, and economic models and reimbursement dossiers, deployment of MSLs, medical affairs clinical trial management, doctors in field (other than MSLs), scientific publications and medical communications.
Medical Affairs Activities means the coordination of medical information requests and field based medical liaisons with respect to Licensed Products that have been commercially launched in the applicable country.
Medical Affairs Activities means, with respect to a Licensed Product, activities designed to ensure or improve appropriate medical use of, conduct medical education of, or further research regarding, such Licensed Product, including, with respect to such Licensed Product: (a) conducting service based medical activities including providing input and assistance with consultancy meetings, recommending investigators for clinical trials and providing input in the design of such trials and other research related activities, and delivering non-promotional communications and conduct non-promotional activities including presenting new clinical trial data and other scientific information; (b) grants to support continuing medical education, symposia, or Third Party research specifically related to such Licensed Product; (c) development, publication and dissemination of publications relating to such Licensed Product and relevant disease states; (d) medical information services provided in response to inquiries communicated via sales representatives or received by letter, phone call or email; (e) conducting advisory board meetings or other consultant programs; (f) support of investigator-initiated clinical trials; (g) managing relationships with cooperative groups, physician/hospital networks and advocacy groups; and (h) establishing and implementing risk, evaluation and mitigation strategies.
Medical Affairs Activities means the design, oversight and implementation of activities designed to ensure or improve appropriate medical use of, conduct medical education of, or support or conduct clinical studies regarding, the Licensed Product, including: (a) the activities to be conducted by Medical Liaisons; (b) sponsoring, or the obtaining of grants to support, continuing independent medical education (including independent symposia and congresses); (c) participation in international congresses and (d) the development, publication and dissemination of scientific and clinical information in support of an approved Indication for the Licensed Product, as well as medical information services (and the content thereof) provided in response to inquiries communicated via the sales representatives or other external-facing representatives or received by letter, phone call or email or other means of communication agreed by the Parties in writing.
Medical Affairs Activities means activities, in compliance with all the applicable Law, designed to ensure or improve appropriate medical use of, conduct medical education regarding, or further research regarding, Tirasemtiv and the Product or to increase disease state awareness, including by way of example: (a) activities of medical scientific liaisons, which shall mean the following functions: (x) conduct of service based medical activities including providing input and assistance with consultancy meetings, recommending investigators for clinical trials and providing input in the design of such trials and other research related activities, and (y) delivery of non-promotional communications and conduct of non-promotional activities including presenting new clinical trial data and other scientific or disease state awareness information; (b) grants to support continuing medical education, symposia, or Third Party research related to Product; (c) development, publication and dissemination of publications relating to Tirasemtiv and the Product and relevant disease states; (d) medical information services provided in response to inquiries communicated via sales representatives or received by letter, phone call or email; (e) conducting advisory board meetings or other consultant programs; (f) support of investigator-initiated trials; (g) managing relationships with cooperative groups, physician/hospital networks and disease state or patient and caregiver advocacy groups; (h) establishing and implementing risk, evaluation and mitigation strategies, (i) voluntary phase 4 trials or post-approval patient registries, (j) health economic and outcomes research (HEOR) activities, (k) independent medical education activities, and (l) non-promotional exhibiting at medical and scientific fora. For the purposes of clarity, post-approval clinical studies within the approved Indications, which were a condition for the receipt of Marketing Approval, shall be included within Development and shall not be included within Medical Affairs Activities.
Medical Affairs Activities means activities designed to ensure or improve appropriate medical use of, conduct medical education of, or further research regarding, a Product sold in the Territory, including by way of example: (a) customary activities of medical science liaisons; (b) grants to support continuing medical education, symposia, or Third Party research related to a Product in the Territory; (c) development, publication and dissemination of publications relating to a Product in the Territory; (d) medical information services provided in response to inquiries communicated via sales representatives or received by letter, phone call or email; (e) conducting advisory board meetings or other consultant programs; and (f) establishment and implementation of risk, evaluation and mitigation and strategies (REMS); provided that, for purposes of cost allocation provisions under this Agreement, Medical Affairs Activities shall not include the conduct of Clinical Trials.
