Franchise Areas definition

Franchise Areas means those areas in which Seller is authorized under one or more Governmental Permits issued by the applicable franchising authorities to provide cable television service to subscribers located in such areas through the ownership and operation of the System, as set forth on SCHEDULE 1.4.

Franchise Areas means those areas for which the Company or its subsidiaries holds Franchises.

Franchise Areas means those areas in which Seller is authorized under one or more Governmental Permits issued by the applicable franchising authorities to provide cable television service to subscribers located in such areas through the ownership and operation of the System, as set forth on Schedule 1.4.

Examples of Franchise Areas in a sentence

• Grantee shall maintain one (1) or more convenient local customer service and bill payment business office locations within the Commission Franchise Area (i.e. within one (1) or more of the Member Cities’ Franchise Areas) for matters such as receiving Subscriber payments, handling billing questions, equipment drop-off, pick up or replacement and customer service information.

• Such efforts shall include, at a minimum, reasonable and diligent efforts to keep the other party and other utilities within the Franchise Areas informed of its intent to undertake such construction work.

• Except as set forth in Schedule 3.20, no Renaissance Company is, nor is any Affiliate of any Renaissance Company, a party to any agreement restricting the ability of any third party to operate cable television systems or any other video programming distribution business within any of the Franchise Areas.

• The Company and the City shall each exercise all best reasonable efforts to coordinate any construction work that either may undertake within the Franchise Areas so as to promote the orderly and expeditious performance and completion of such work as a whole.

• At a minimum, such efforts shall include reasonable and diligent efforts to keep the other Party and other utilities within the Franchise Areas informed of its intent to undertake Work.

More Definitions of Franchise Areas

Franchise Areas means the areas in which FCCI is authorized to provide cable television service under the Local Authorizations and the areas served by any of the Cable Systems in which FCCI provides cable television service without a Local Authorization.

Franchise Areas means i) the area occupied by the five (5) vertical support columns at and below the surface of the Access Easement at fixed locations and connecting to the Garage structure, and the Garage’s occupancy of a portion of air rights beginning approximately nineteen feet (19′) above the surface of the Access Easement and consisting of three levels of a horizontal plane of approximately 1,103 square feet as shown on Exhibit 2; and

Franchise Areas means the areas in which the Company is authorized to provide cable television service under the Local Authorizations and the areas served by any System in which the Company provides cable television service without a Local Authorization.

Franchise Areas shall have the meaning specified in the Implementation Agreement.

Franchise Areas mean those geographical areas set forth on Schedule 3.20 in which Seller is authorized under one or more Authorizations to provide CATV service to subscribers.

"GS CAPITAL PARTNERS" means European Cable Capital Partners L.P., GS Capital Partners, L.P, Stone Street Fund 1996 L.P. and Bridxx Xxxxxx Xxxx 0000 X.X., all of which are Delaware limited partnerships and whose principal offices are at 85 Bxxxx Xxxxxx, Xxx Xxxx, XX 00000 xx any other fund managed by Goldxxx Xxxhx & Xo. "GUARANTEE FEE" means the commission payable on Bank Guarantees in accordance with Clause 11.3 (Guarantee Fee).
