Fitness to Study definition

Fitness to Study means:
Fitness to Study means an undergraduate or graduate student’s fitness:
Fitness to Study means that you are well enough to undertake study and assessment, and that your health is not impacting too much on your learning, your fellow students’ learning, or on our capacity to support that learning.

  • In cases where Stages 2 or 3 of the Fitness to Study Procedure have been invoked, the Chair will make a decision about whether the student's emergency contact should be informed, and discuss with the student whether any statutory services should be contacted.

Fitness to Study means a student's fitness:
Fitness to Study initial step: We will ask you to meet an appropriate member of staff to discuss the concern, unless the matter raises serious and immediate concerns. We will give you information about where to get support. If the concerns are not resolved, or the staff member believes that there is a high risk to you or to others, the Head of Student Services will review the matter. The Head of Student Services will meet with you and may invite other relevant staff members to that meeting. At the meeting, we will ask you to agree an action plan and a date to review your progress. If you do not follow the action plan or further issues arise, or if your behaviour raises serious and immediate concerns, the Head of Student Services will be informed and paragraph 16.7 will apply.
Fitness to Study means a Student’s fitness:
Fitness to Study means an undergraduate or graduate student's fitness

Fitness to Study means that you can engage with your studies at TEDI-London and maintain appropriate standards of behaviour as outlined within the Student Charter. You are fit to study when there are no concerns about your health and wellbeing affecting your ability to engage with your academic life. If we believe that you are not able to engage with your studies and academic life, we may invoke the Fitness to Study process.
