This Memorandum of Agreement shall pertain only to the Military Firefighters, Military Firefighter Supervisors, and the Assistant Military Fire Chiefs in the Department of Defense, Veterans and Emergency Management (DVEM).
For the Firefighters or Lieutenants working out of class as a Lieutenant or Battalion Chief, the increase will be to the entry rate of the job classification in which the employee is working, or eleven percent (11%), whichever is greater.
The parties agree that the following contract provisions of the 2019-2021 and successor OMS bargaining unit agreement shall not apply to the Military Firefighters.
The three lists will be separated by classification of Military Firefighters, Assistant Chiefs, and Military Firefighter Supervisors.
That is, twelve (12) working shifts for all Firefighters on three (3) weeks vacation; and sixteen (16) working shifts for all Firefighters on four (4) weeks vacation; and twenty (20) working shifts for all Firefighters on five (5) weeks vacation; and twenty-four (24) working shifts for all Firefighters on six (6) weeks vacation; and twenty-eight (28) working shifts for all Firefighters on seven (7) weeks vacation.
