Critical Path definition

Critical Path means those Trade Contractor Work activities identified on the Construction Schedule which, if delayed, will cause a corresponding Delay in the Substantial Completion Date.
Critical Path means the sequence of activities from the start of the Work to Substantial Completion of the Project for which any delay in the completion of these activities will delay achieving Substantial Completion.
Critical Path means the path through the project schedule indicating the minimum time in which it is possible to complete the Work, and the tasks that, if delayed, will delay Substantial Completion of the Work."

Examples of Critical Path in a sentence

  • If the Work exposed or examined is not in conformance with the requirements of the Contract Documents, then uncovering, removing and restoring the Work and recovery of any delay to any Critical Path occasioned thereby shall be at Developer’s cost and Developer shall not be entitled to any adjustment to the Price or any Completion Deadline or any other relief.

  • Except with respect to Work done or materials used as described in the foregoing sentence, if Work exposed or examined under this Section 5.4.3 is in conformance with the requirements of the Contract Documents, then any delay in any Critical Path from uncovering, removing and restoring Work shall be considered a TxDOT- Caused Delay, and Developer shall be entitled to a Change Order for the cost of such efforts and recovery of any delay to any Critical Path occasioned thereby.

  • In such event, Developer shall immediately determine whether the delay impacts the Critical Path and, if so, to what extent it might be possible to avoid such delay through re-sequencing, reallocation or other alternative construction methods or otherwise.

  • Unless otherwise indicated in the Contract Documents, the Work Progress Schedule shall be based upon a computerized Critical Path Method (CPM) with fully editable logic.

  • Prior to commencing Construction, Contractor shall submit to District a reasonably detailed Critical Path Method (“CPM”) Master Schedule for the Construction, as set forth in Section 10.E., below.

More Definitions of Critical Path

Critical Path means the longest sequence of activities in a project plan which must be completed on time for that project to complete by the stated due date.
Critical Path means the schedule path with the least amount of total float which constitutes the longest continuous sequence of interrelated activities depicting Work from an NTP to completion of a final or designated intermediate Milestone.
Critical Path means the longest chain(s), in terms of time, of logically connected activities on the Project Schedule ending with Final Acceptance for the last Project Segment.
Critical Path. The longest connected chain of interdependent activities through the network schedule that establishes the minimum overall Project duration and contains no total float.
Critical Path means each critical path on the Project Schedule, which ends on a Completion Deadline (i.e., the term shall apply only following consumption of all available Float for the applicable Completion Deadline in the schedule). The lower case term “critical path” means the activities and durations associated with the longest chains of logically connected activities through the Project Schedule with the least amount of positive slack or the greatest amount of negative slack. DB Contractor or Design- Build Contractor means , a , together with its successors and assigns. Design-Build Agreement has the meaning set forth in the preamble hereof. Design-Build Specifications means the Design-Build Specifications Items 10-28, 32, 10,001 and 10,004 dated as of [ ]. Differing Site Conditions means (a) subsurface or latent conditions encountered at the actual boring holes identified in the geotechnical reports included in the Reference Information Documents listed in Exhibit 3 to this DBA, which differ materially from those conditions indicated in the geotechnical reports for such boring holes or (b) subsurface or surface physical conditions of an unusual nature, differing materially from those ordinarily encountered in the area and generally recognized as inherent in the type of work provided for in the Contract Documents. This term shall specifically exclude all such conditions of which DB Contractor had actual or constructive knowledge as of the Proposal Due Date. The foregoing definition specifically excludes: (i) changes in surface topography; (ii) variations in subsurface moisture content and variations in the water table; (iii) Utility facilities; (iv) Hazardous Materials, including contaminated groundwater; (v) acquisition of real property for drainage purposes; (vi) any conditions which constitute or are caused by a Relief Event; and (vii) karst and the discovery of Karst Features.
