COVID-19 Event definition

COVID-19 Event means, with respect to the Business conducted at the Premises, any Law of any Governmental Authority having jurisdiction over the Business in response to COVID-19 that directly results in the forced closure of the Business for more than five (5) consecutive Business Days and is imposed or implemented after the Effective Date.
COVID-19 Event means: • any shortage of labour; • restricted access to WORKSITE and/or facilities; • shortages of equipment, plant and/or materials; and/or • any regulatory delays directly caused by the imposition of any mandatory requirements of the United Kingdom and/or Scottish governments, in each case resulting from the CORONAVIRUS PANDEMIC.
COVID-19 Event means the declaration on March 13, 2020, of the national emergency relating to COVID-19 and the federal, state and local measures related thereto.

Examples of COVID-19 Event in a sentence

  • During the COVID-19 Event, employees may utilize any personal leave type: sick leave, PTO-Paid Time Off, Sick and Safe Leave, or other available leave types: annual leave, compensatory leave, and comp leave supp, subject to manager approval.

  • If excess hours are not on tasks related to the COVID-19 Event, just record as normal, by increasing the hours worked on the regular hour line, or a separate line, to comply with departmental coding requirements.

  • Producer may temporarily upgrade an Assistant Director to a higher classification to replace an employee who is absent due to an Eligible COVID-19 Event (as defined in Item 7.c. above for purposes of temporary COVID-19 paid sick leave), even if he/she is not on the Qualification List for such higher classification.

  • During the COVID-19 Event, and for contacts with COVID-19 only, until a reported CorVel Claim has been investigated, timekeeping should follow the most appropriate example(s) above.

  • Internal design and furnishing of the bunkers specific to the machines shall be completed by the vendor in consultation with the R&B Department.


More Definitions of COVID-19 Event

COVID-19 Event means an event, other than a COVID-19 Change in Law, arising after the Financial Submission Date and caused by the COVID-19 Pandemic;
COVID-19 Event means any of the events set out below that specifically relate to the COVID-19 coronavirus global pandemic (including related epidemic, pandemic or disease outbreak) which have the effect of delaying and/or preventing the Supplier from performing its obligations under the Agreement:
COVID-19 Event means the occurrence of any of the following: (a)a COVID-19 Applicable Law Event; (b)a COVID-19 PCSC Event; (c)with respect to any Supplier, the enactment, adoption, promulgation, imposition, repeal, amendment, or change in binding interpretation, enforcement or application of an Applicable Law by a Governmental Authority that: (i)is issued in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, or to protect those performing the Work from the spread of COVID-19, or to otherwise fight against the spread of COVID-19; (ii)is issued after the date that is [***] Days prior to [***]; and (iii)results in such Supplier being required to employ additional or different counter-measures or other means and methods in performing the Work at any location (other than the Site) where the Work is being performed by such Supplier from those counter-measures or means and methods set forth in such Supplier’s COVID-19 response plan so as to protect those performing the Work from the spread of COVID-19, or to otherwise fight against the spread of COVID-19, and perform the Work in accordance with all Applicable Laws related to COVID-19; or (d) [***].
COVID-19 Event means an event occurring after December 1, 2020 where, as determined by the Provincial Ministry, a COVID-19 outbreak in Ontario results in a 10% or greater reduction (as measured by average processing capacity in the previous twelve months) in the weekly processing capacity of Ontario beef cattle. A COVID-19 Event is deemed completed when the processing capacity returns to pre-COVID-19 levels or 6 months from when the date that the COVID-19 Event first occurred, whichever is shorter;
COVID-19 Event means: 1.1.21.1. any changes to the availability of labour, goods and/or materials; 1.1.21.2. changes to any applicable laws; or 1.1.21.3. changes to any regulations or guidance issued by any competent authorities and having mandatory effect and affecting site operating practices and/or affecting engineering or manufacturing activities (including, social distancing), in each case arising from Covid-19, affecting the duly and timely performance of the Works in accordance with this Agreement and occurring after the Execution Date, it being acknowledged by the Parties that the Supplier has made due allowance in its programme having regard to the situation of Covid-19 as at the Execution Date; 1.1.22. ″Defects″ means any defect in the Xxxx Equipment attributable to the Supplier due to which the Xxxx Equipment does not conform to the Annex 1 and/or the terms of this Agreement; 1.1.23. ″Defects Liability Period″ has the meaning indicated in Article 11.1.1; 1.1.24. ″Delay Liquidated Damages″ has the meaning indicated in Article 8; 1.1.25. ″Delivery Date(s) ″ means the date on which each of the Xxxx Component is delivered in compliance with Article 4.3; 1.1.26. ″DNO″ or ″Distribution Network Operator″ means the relevant distribution system operator; 1.1.27. ″Down Payment″ has the meaning indicated in Article 6.2; 1.1.28. ″Due Delivery Date(s) ″ means the date of delivery of each Battery Module as per Incoterms 2020 – FOB at Port of [REDACTED], and of each
COVID-19 Event means an event occurring after March 15, 2020 where, due to COVID- 19, there is a shortage of labour needed at a processing facility that regularly processes Hogs for human consumption;
COVID-19 Event means the outbreak and spread of SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) or any strains, mutations or variants thereof, or related or associated epidemics, pandemics or disease outbreaks.
