Business of the Company definition

Business of the Company means any business with the primary purpose of leasing assets to healthcare operators, or financing the ownership of or financing the operation of skilled nursing facilities, senior housing, long-term care facilities, assisted living facilities, or other residential healthcare-related real estate.
Business of the Company means any business or activity involved in grocery or general merchandise retailing and supply chain logistics, including but not limited to grocery distribution, business-to-business portal, retail support services and third-party logistics, of the type provided by the Company or its Affiliates, or presented in concept to you by the Company or its Affiliates at any time during your employment with the Company or any of its Affiliates.

Examples of Business of the Company in a sentence

  • Participant agrees that, for a period of one (1) year following Participant’s Termination of Employment (the “Restricted Period”), Participant will not engage, directly or indirectly, whether on behalf of Participant or another person, entity, business or enterprise, in any activities which are the same as, or substantially similar to, activities Participant performed for or on behalf of the Company and which compete with the Business of the Company in the Territory (the “Competitive Services”).

  • Employee agrees that, due to the proprietary nature of the Business of the Company and relationships with others, the post-employment restrictions set forth above are reasonable as to duration and scope.

  • To the knowledge of the Company, the Business of the Company and that of the Subsidiaries, as currently proposed to be conducted within a two year period from the effective date of this Agreement will not infringe the Intellectual Property Rights of any person.

  • You agree that during your employment with the Company and for two years after your employment with the Company terminates for any reason (the “Restricted Period”), you will give the Company ten (10) business days’ written notice of your intention to Provide Services to any other Person that engages in or is preparing to engage in the Business of the Company within the Restricted Area.

Business of the Company means the highly competitive business of developing, manufacturing, marketing, distributing, and/or selling sleep products, including mattresses, foundations, changing pads and covers, and bedding components for the same.
