Business of the Company definition

Business of the Company means any business or activity involved in grocery or general merchandise retailing and supply chain logistics, including but not limited to grocery distribution, business-to-business portal, retail support services and third-party logistics, of the type provided by the Company or its Affiliates, or presented in concept to you by the Company or its Affiliates at any time during your employment with the Company or any of its Affiliates.

Business of the Company means any business with the primary purpose of leasing assets to healthcare operators, or financing the ownership of or financing the operation of skilled nursing facilities, senior housing, long-term care facilities, assisted living facilities, or other residential healthcare-related real estate.

Business of the Company means the highly competitive business of developing, manufacturing, marketing, distributing, and/or selling sleep products, including mattresses, foundations, changing pads and covers, and bedding components for the same.

Examples of Business of the Company in a sentence

• The Company owns, possesses or can obtain on commercially reasonable terms sufficient legal rights to all Intellectual Property necessary to the Business of the Company as presently conducted without any conflict with, or infringement or misappropriation, of the rights of others, the lack of which could reasonably be expected to have a Material Adverse Effect.

• Executive acknowledges and agrees that a Competing Business of the Company also includes any business or activity in which the Company is engaged, in research and development, or is demonstrably planning to conduct, each as of the Termination Date.

• The Company is the true and lawful owner of and has good and marketable title to all of its assets and properties that are used in the Business of the Company, free and clear of all Encumbrances, except for (i) leased Real Property, (ii) validly licensed Intellectual Property, and (iii) inventory disposed of in the Ordinary Course of Business.

• The term “Competitive Business” means any person, concern or entity which is engaged in or conducts a business substantially the same as the Business of the Company and its Affiliates.

Business of the Company means the following areas of its business which are selected below, which Employee acknowledges are areas of the Company’s business in which Employee has responsibilities: (check as applicable)

Business of the Company means the production, manufacturing and distribution of industrial gases, including atmospheric and process gases; the designing and manufacturing of equipment for the production, processing, purification distribution or storage of gases or for natural gas liquefaction; and any other line of business conducted, developed or being developed by the Company during your employment with the Company, in each case, in which you are or were involved during the course of your employment with the Company or about which you possess Confidential Information.

Business of the Company means services to (A) identify clients’ erroneous or improper payments, (B) assist clients in the recovery of monies owed to them as a result of overpayments and overlooked discounts, rebates, allowances and credits, and (C) assist clients in the improvement and execution of their procurement and payment processes.

Business of the Company means the research, design, development, marketing, sales, operations, maintenance and commercial exploitation pertaining to the operation of, and providing products and services for: (1) fantasy sports contests (“FSC”); (2) Regulated Gaming (defined below); (3) all other products and services that exist, are in development, or are under consideration by the Company during your relationship with the Company (“Other Products and Services”); and (4) all products and services incidentally related to, or which are an extension, development or expansion of, FSC, Regulated Gaming and/or Other Products and Services (“Incidental Products and Services”).

Business of the Company means any business with the primary purpose of leasing assets to healthcare operators, or financing the ownership or operation of, senior housing, long-term care facilities, assisted living facilities, retirement housing facilities, or other healthcare related real estate, and ancillary financing businesses the primary focus of which relates to any of the foregoing.
