Parent definition

Parent means a “parent corporation,” whether now or hereafter existing, as defined in Section 424(e) of the Code.
Parent has the meaning set forth in the Preamble.
Parent means any corporation (other than the Company) in an unbroken chain of corporations ending with the Company if each of such corporations other than the Company owns stock possessing 50% or more of the total combined voting power of all classes of stock in one of the other corporations in such chain.

  • The Company shall not be obligated to file any claim relating to any Obligations in the event that Parent becomes subject to a bankruptcy, reorganization or similar proceeding, and the failure of the Company to so file shall not affect any Funding Party’s obligations hereunder.

Parent means any corporation (other than the Company) in an unbroken chain of corporations ending with the Company, if each of the corporations other than the Company owns stock possessing 50% or more of the total combined voting power of all classes of stock in one of the other corporations in such chain.
