Weekend and Holiday Work. Design-Builder shall include in its base bid the cost to work weekends as stated so within the performance specifications. All overtime work for critical and near critical path schedule activities at the Project Site to ensure that physical activities are completed to mitigate any disruption to the campus will be accounted for and made part of the total contract price. (i.e., near critical path schedule activities include any schedule activity with less than 5 work days of total float). Design-Builder shall not include in its base bid the cost to work holidays. The Academic Calendar for session dates for each term are available at the following link: xxxx://xxx.0xx.xxx/hr/academic_calendar/Forms/AllItems.aspx. The academic calendar provides the recesses which both District and Campus are closed; e.g. Winter Break, Spring Recess and the interval between Spring and Summer terms.

Weekend and Holiday Work a. Non-exempt Employees
Weekend and Holiday Work. The Home operates twenty-four (24) hours per day, seven (7) days per week. Employees must work scheduled hours including weekends and holidays; provided, however, the Home shall continue its policy of making reasonable effort, consistent with the needs of the Home, to give employees every other weekend off. Some departments may provide more than every other weekend off, as staffing and departmental needs permit. Employees with twenty (20) or more years of bargaining unit seniority will not be expected to work weekends or holidays unless requesting to do so. However, on selected nursing shifts or in selected non-nursing departments, the number of staff eligible for this option will be limited or reduced where the number of such senior staff exceeds the ability to grant this request. Under these circumstances, the requests will be decided based upon bargaining unit seniority.

  • Weekend Holidays 9.3.1. A full-time employee who works a Monday through Friday schedule and the calendar holiday falls on a Saturday, the employee shall be allowed the preceding day off. When a holiday falls on a Sunday, the employee shall be allowed the following day off. If the employee works the day preceding or following such a holiday, he/she shall be given another workday off with pay or shall receive payment for that day at the regular rate.

  • OVERTIME AND HOLIDAYS 5.1 An Employer may require employees to perform work in excess of their regularly assigned hours. All time worked by an employee before and after his regular shift on Monday to Friday inclusive, except as provided in Article 4 and all hours worked on Saturday and Sunday shall be paid for at the rate of double time. Double time shall continue for all hours worked until the employee has had eight (8) consecutive hours off or longer if mutually agreed to by the employer and the employee.

  • WEEKEND AND HOLIDAY DELIVERIES Unless otherwise specified in the Bid Specifications or by an Authorized User, deliveries will be scheduled for ordinary business hours, Monday through Friday (excluding legal holidays observed by the State of New York). Deliveries may be scheduled by mutual agreement for Saturdays, Sundays or legal holidays observed by the State of New York where the Product is for daily consumption, an emergency exists, the delivery is a replacement, delivery is late, or other reasonable circumstance in which event the convenience of the Authorized User shall govern.

  • OVERTIME AND HOLIDAY PAY 5.3.1 All hours worked by an employee in excess of eight (8) hours per shift and in excess of forty (40) straight time hours per week shall be paid for at the rate of one and one-half times the straight time rate. All hours worked by an employee in excess of ten (10) hours per shift and all hours worked on Sunday shall be paid at the rate of double the straight time rate.

  • Paid Holidays – Long Weekends (a) When an employee is scheduled to work a weekend where a paid holiday falls on the Monday or the Friday, the Employer shall endeavour to also schedule the employee to work the paid holiday.

  • Vacations and Holidays The Executive will be entitled to three (3) weeks' paid vacation each calendar year in accordance with the vacation policies of the Employer in effect for its executive officers from time to time. The Executive will also be entitled to the paid holidays and other paid leave set forth in the Employer's policies. Vacation days during any calendar year that are not used by the Executive during such calendar year may be used in any subsequent calendar year; provided, however, that no more than six weeks' paid vacation may be accrued or carried forward.

  • Vacation, Sick Leave and Holidays Executive shall be entitled in each calendar year to four (4) weeks of paid vacation time. Each vacation shall be taken by Executive at such time or times as agreed upon by the Company and Executive, and any portion of Executive’s allowable vacation time not used during the calendar year shall be subject to the Company’s payroll policies regarding carryover vacation. Executive shall be entitled to holiday and sick leave in accordance with the Company’s holiday and other pay for time not worked policies.

  • Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays If the last or appointed day for the taking of any action or the expiration of any right required or granted herein shall be a Saturday, Sunday or U.S. federal holiday, then such action may be taken or such right may be exercised on the next succeeding day that is not a Saturday, Sunday or U.S. federal holiday.

  • Holiday Work If an employee works on a holiday or designated holiday, the employee will be paid at the rate of time and one-half the regular salary rate for all hours worked, in addition to his/her holiday pay. For the purpose of computing additional overtime, only hours actually worked shall be counted.
