The 'Spring Recess' clause defines the period during which regular activities, such as classes or work obligations, are temporarily suspended for a spring break. Typically, this clause specifies the exact dates of the recess and may outline any exceptions or special rules that apply during this time, such as limited access to facilities or changes in deadlines. Its core practical function is to provide clear notice and structure around the scheduled break, ensuring all parties are aware of the pause in normal operations and can plan accordingly.
Spring Recess. If a hard shutdown is declared for spring recess, a 52-week employee who plans to work shall notify the Employee Services Manager by February 15 that his/her worksite will be shut down and he/she needs to be relocated to another worksite during spring recess. The employee shall be notified of his/her alternate worksite by March 1.
