Use Of Alcohol And Controlled Substances Prohibited. No Trenton Police Department employee shall report for duty or remain on duty while having an alcohol concentration of 0.02 or greater. No Trenton Police Department employee shall report for duty or remain on duty when the employee uses any controlled substance as defined by Chapter 3719 of the Ohio Revised Code, except when the use is prescribed by a physician who has advised the employee that the substance does not adversely affect the employee's ability to safely perform his or her job duties. The employee shall immediately provide the Chief or his/her designee with the physician's report concerning such prescriptions.

No Employee shall report for duty or remain on duty when the Employee uses any controlled substance as defined by Chapter 3719 of the Ohio Revised Code, except when the use is prescribed by a physician who has advised the Employee that the substance does not adversely affect the Employee's ability to safely perform his/ her job duties. Use Of Alcohol And Controlled Substances Prohibited. The Contractor hereby acknowledges that the use of alcoholic beverages, narcotics, and mood altering substances, except for current valid, legal prescriptions, by any officer, employee, agent, or representative of the Contractor is prohibited on Town of Chelmsford property which is the subject matter of this Contract and during all hours of work under this Contract. If any officer, employee, agent, or representative of the Contractor violates the foregoing provision, the Town of Chelmsford shall have the right to order that such officer, employee, agent, or representative of the Contractor shall not be permitted to return to work on this Contract. Under such circumstances, the Contractor shall promptly remove the subject officer, employee, agent, or representative from the job site and shall not permit the subject officer, employee, agent, or representative to perform further work in conjunction with this Contract.
