Training Wage. Other Than Initial Training Employees, other than Employees undergoing their initial training to enter the Transit Officer Unit, who are required to attend any supplementary training as directed by the Employer, will be entitled to be paid the Base rate of pay plus 15%.
Training Wage. Any newly hired full-time police officer who does not possess a certificate issued by the Ohio Peace Officers Training Council or whose certificate is not valid due to a requirement to attend additional training, shall be paid a wage to be termed a training wage. Said wage shall be equal to seventy-five percent (75%) of the base rate for a full-time Police Officer as established by this Agreement. After successful completion of all required training and receipt of the appropriate certificate(s) and other documentation and upon commencement of the Departments Field Training Officer Program (F.T.O.), said officer’s wage rate shall be increased to eight-seven and one half percent (87.5%) of the base rate for a full- time Police Officer as established by this Agreement and in effect at the time. After successful completion of the F.T.O. program, as determined by the Field Training Officer, said officer’s wage shall be increased to the base rate in effect at the time. Thereafter, all increases shall be in accordance with the provisions of this Agreement.
Training Wage. The State requires staff to acquire sixteen (16) hours of training specific to their position on an annual basis to maintain site and staff licensing. The district will offer sixteen (16) hours of training annually to staff. Staff members will be compensated at the training rate of $9.63 per hour for the required sixteen (16) hours.
Training Wage. A training wage shall apply for trainees as provided for in the New South Wales Training Wage (State) Award.
Training Wage. 13.1. Trainees may be employed for a maximum of 12 hours for on the job training. Such employees shall be paid not less than 80% of the applicable ordinary hourly rate prescribed in clause 10.
Training Wage. Training wage for trainees shall be Step 1 unless the Chief of Police, elects to start the employee at a higher step. Communicators assigned to training new Communicators shall be compensated with 2 comp day for each trainee they train per year.
