Testbeds Sample Clauses

Testbeds. ‌ The Virtual Wall will be the main testbed of reference as reported in D4.2 [5]. The Virtual Wall can provide access to bare metal hardware to run the RINA implementation and the applications required for the experiment, providing access to an adequate number of resources. Initially the jFed experimenter GUI will be used to reserve and setup the resources in the FED4FIRE+ testbeds. Once it becomes available, the experimentation and measurement framework under development in WP3 will provide a more automated front-end for jFed as well as other IRATI deployment and configuration tools such as the Demonstrator.

Testbeds. The performance-sensitive nature of this experiment requires the use of bare metal hardware resources if possible. A moderate number of resources is required to carry out the tests, without the need of supporting wireless interfaces. Hence, the Virtual Wall is the best testbed option from the selection made in D4.2 [5]: Testbed Purpose Virtual Wall Provides access to enough bare metal servers to carry out the experiments described in this scenario
Testbeds. ‌ We do not foresee the use of wireless resources to carry out the renumbering experiment, therefore the Virtual Wall will be its main testbed of reference as reported in D4.2 [5]. The Virtual Wall can provide access to bare metal hardware to run the RINA implementation and the applications required for the experiment, providing access to an adequate number of resources. Initially the jFed experimenter Graphical User Interface (GUI) will be used to reserve and setup the resources in the FED4FIRE+ testbeds. Once it becomes available, the experimentation and measurement framework under development in WP3 will provide a more automated front-end for jFed as well as other IRATI deployment and configuration tools such as the Demonstrator. In summary, this experiment may use the testbeds in Table 5.3. Testbeds. The experiment will use the testbeds in Table 7 from the selection made in D4.2 [5]. These testbeds have been chosen taking into account previous know-how of T4.3 partners, and to support the ∼ ∼ number of nodes required during the various phases of the experiment (i.e. ranging from 30 to 1000 nodes). Moreover, running the experiment on both a VM-based testbed (GENI) and a baremetal-based testbed (Virtual wall) has been considered an important factor for the evaluation of RINA software stability, as the sensitive difference in I/O timings 1 can result into a larger software testing coverage. Testbed Purpose
Testbeds. ‌ For the development and testing of the current prototype, two testbeds are being provided by the consortium. GWDG and FLEX run OpenStack and Flexiant Cloud Orchestrator (FCO) respectively. The following paragraphs provide an overview of the size and power of the respective testbeds.

Related to Testbeds

  • Test Samples The Contractor is responsible for providing Samples of sufficient size for test purposes and for coordinating such tests with the Work Progress Schedule to avoid delay.

  • Testing Landlord shall have the right to conduct annual tests of the Premises to determine whether any contamination of the Premises or the Project has occurred as a result of Tenant’s use. Tenant shall be required to pay the cost of such annual test of the Premises; provided, however, that if Tenant conducts its own tests of the Premises using third party contractors and test procedures acceptable to Landlord which tests are certified to Landlord, Landlord shall accept such tests in lieu of the annual tests to be paid for by Tenant. In addition, at any time, and from time to time, prior to the expiration or earlier termination of the Term, Landlord shall have the right to conduct appropriate tests of the Premises and the Project to determine if contamination has occurred as a result of Tenant’s use of the Premises. In connection with such testing, upon the request of Landlord, Tenant shall deliver to Landlord or its consultant such non-proprietary information concerning the use of Hazardous Materials in or about the Premises by Tenant or any Tenant Party. If contamination has occurred for which Tenant is liable under this Section 30, Tenant shall pay all costs to conduct such tests. If no such contamination is found, Landlord shall pay the costs of such tests (which shall not constitute an Operating Expense). Landlord shall provide Tenant with a copy of all third party, non-confidential reports and tests of the Premises made by or on behalf of Landlord during the Term without representation or warranty and subject to a confidentiality agreement. Tenant shall, at its sole cost and expense, promptly and satisfactorily remediate any environmental conditions identified by such testing in accordance with all Environmental Requirements. Landlord’s receipt of or satisfaction with any environmental assessment in no way waives any rights which Landlord may have against Tenant.

  • Test The outer surface of the lamp lenses shall be subjected once or more than once to the action of the sand jet produced as described above. The jet shall be sprayed almost perpendicular to the surface to be tested. The deterioration shall be checked by means of one or more samples of glass placed as a reference near the lenses to be tested. The mixture shall be sprayed until the variation in the diffusion of light on the sample or samples measured by the method described in Appendix 2, is such that: Δ d = (T5 - T4) / T2 ≤ 0.0250 ± 0.0025 Several reference samples may be used to check that the whole surface to be tested has deteriorated homogeneously. Annex 6 - Appendix 4

  • Substance Abuse Testing The Parties agree that it is in the best interest of all concerned to promote a safe working environment. The Union has no objection to pre-employment substance abuse testing when required by the Employer and further, the Union has no objection to voluntary substance abuse testing to qualify for employment on projects when required by a project owner. The cost and scheduling of such testing shall be paid for and arranged by the Employer. The Union agrees to reimburse the Employer for any failed pre-access Alcohol and Drug test costs.

  • Infrastructure Vulnerability Scanning Supplier will scan its internal environments (e.g., servers, network devices, etc.) related to Deliverables monthly and external environments related to Deliverables weekly. Supplier will have a defined process to address any findings but will ensure that any high-risk vulnerabilities are addressed within 30 days.

  • Alcohol Testing Alcohol testing will be conducted by using an evidential breath testing device (EBT) approved by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. Non-EBT devices may be used for initial screening tests. A screening test will be conducted first. If the result is an alcohol concentration level of less than 0.02, the test is considered a negative test. If the alcohol concentration level is 0.02 or more, a second confirmation test will be conducted. Levels of .04 or greater on the confirmation test will be considered positive.

  • TOOL STORAGE 1. A company shall provide on all construction jobs in towns and cities, and elsewhere where reasonably necessary and practicable (or if requested buy the employee), a suitable and secure waterproof lock-up solely for the purpose of storing employees’ tools, and on multi-storey and major projects the company shall provide, where possible, a suitable lock-up for employees’ tools within a reasonable distance of the work area of large groups of employees.

  • Screening 3.13.1 Refuse containers located outside the building shall be fully screened from adjacent properties and from streets by means of opaque fencing or masonry walls with suitable landscaping.

  • ODUF Testing 6.6.1 Upon request from TWTC, AT&T shall send ODUF test files to TWTC. The Parties agree to review and discuss the ODUF file content and/or format. For testing of usage results, AT&T shall request that TWTC set up a production (live) file. The live test may consist of TWTC’s employees making test calls for the types of services TWTC requests on ODUF. These test calls are logged by TWTC, and the logs are provided to AT&T. These logs will be used to verify the files. Testing will be completed within thirty (30) days from the date on which the initial test file was sent.

  • Tests 7.7.1 If the Contract Documents, laws, ordinances, rules, regulations or orders of any public authority having jurisdiction require any portion of the Work to be inspected, tested or approved, the Contractor shall give the Architect timely notice of its readiness so the Architect may observe such inspection, testing or approval. The Contractor shall bear all costs of such inspections, tests or approvals conducted by public authorities.
