Bare Metal definition

Bare Metal means, in a Cloud Computing Environment, a physical computer server that is dedicated to one Customer.
Bare Metal means enterprise-grade dedicated purpose-built compute platform with a Customer provided Operating System (OS) or hypervisor or installed applications.
Bare Metal hosting means that the customer has just done a “lift nad shift” of their servers into the third party premises to take advantage of better PUE, security and other economies of scale.
