Alcohol Testing Sample Clauses

Alcohol Testing. Alcohol testing will be conducted by using an evidential breath testing device (EBT) approved by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. Non-EBT devices may be used for initial screening tests. A screening test will be conducted first. If the result is an alcohol concentration level of less than 0.02, the test is considered a negative test. If the alcohol concentration level is 0.02 or more, a second confirmation test will be conducted. Levels of .04 or greater on the confirmation test will be considered positive.

Alcohol Testing. The administration of an alcohol test shall be in accordance with the test equipment manufacturer's instructions.
Alcohol Testing. Alcohol testing shall be done in the same manner as is used to detect drivers operating a motor vehicle under the influence. A positive result of a blood alcohol concentration of .03% or above shall entitle the City to proceed with sanctions as set forth in this Article.
Alcohol Testing a. Alcohol tests are conducted using a breathalyzer screening test. Employees who test 0.02 or higher will be required to submit to a confirmation test. Test results will be issued only to the County’s Drug and Alcohol Policy Coordinator. The results will be sent by certified mail or hand-delivered to the employee within three (3) working days of receipt of the results by the County.
Alcohol Testing. The parties have agreed that the procedures as set forth in this Section shall be the methodology for all testing and will be modified only in the event that further Federal legislation or Department of Transportation regulations required by regulation, revise testing methodologies or requirements during the term of this Agreement. Where such regulations allow revised testing methodologies such modifications shall be subject to mutual agreement by the parties.

Alcohol Testing. A breathalyzer or similar test equipment shall be used to screen for alcohol use and if positive shall be confirmed by a blood alcohol test performed by the laboratory. This screening test shall be performed by an individual qualified through and utilizing equipment certified by the U.S. Department of Transportation. An initial positive alcohol level shall be .04 grams per 210 L. of breath. If initial testing results are negative, testing shall be discontinued, all samples destroyed and records of the testing expunged from the employee's file. If initial testing results are positive, the test shall be confirmed using a blood alcohol level. Sampling handling procedures, as detailed in Section 4, shall apply. A positive blood alcohol level shall be .04 grams per 100 ml of blood. If confirmatory testing results are negative all samples shall be destroyed and records of the testing expunged from the employee's file.
Alcohol Testing. Alcohol Testing shall be accomplished by means of Breath Testing which shall be administered by a Breath Alcohol Technician (BAT). The Employer shall contract with a provider to perform such breath testing and only Evidential Breath Testing (EBT) devices certified by the Federal Government shall be used in the administration of such testing.
Alcohol Testing. The alcohol test will be performed using an Evidential Breath Testing (EBT) device that is approved by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and administered by a trained Breath Alcohol Technician (BAT). The alcohol testing process will consist of the following steps: • Upon arrival, the employee will be shown to the testing site. The site will afford the employee privacy during the process. • The employee will provide picture identification to the BAT for inspection. • The BAT will explain the test process and will, with the employee, complete the Alcohol Testing Form. • The BAT will open a sealed disposable mouthpiece in view of the employee and attach it to the EBT device for a screening test. • The employee will blow forcefully into the mouthpiece and be shown the result. • If the test result is less than .04 (Non-CDL and .02 CDL) the test will be recorded as negative. • If the initial test indicates an alcohol concentration of .04 (Non-CDL and .02 CDL) or greater, a second confirmatory test will be conducted at least fifteen
