Sick Leave While on Vacation. If an employee becomes hospitalized for more than one day during their vacation, there shall be no deduction of vacation credits during the period of hospitalization. If an employee becomes sick for more than three consecutive calendar days during their vacation, there shall be no deduction of vacation credits during the period of sickness. An employee shall notify their supervisor at the time of such hospitalization or sickness and shall provide the Employer with medical certificates of such hospitalization or sickness.
