Short Term Illness and Injury Plan. The Employer will provide a short term illness and injury plan (STIIP) that entitles eligible employees to a benefit of seventy-five percent (75%) of basic pay for a period not to exceed seven (7) months as provided for in Appendix 11.

Vacation earned pursuant to this Article may be carried over to the following year. On return from leave an employee shall be placed in his/her former position.
