Contractor will not, by virtue of this Contract, be eligible for federal Social Security, employment insurance, workers’ compensation or the Public Employees’ Retirement System, except as a self-employed individual.

RETIREMENT SYSTEM STATUS. The parties hereto recognize and agree that under this Agreement public employee retirement benefits and social security benefits accrue in the manner prescribed by the employee's regular employment and are the responsibility of the regular employer as if the employee were performing the employee's regular duties. No additional benefits arise due to participation in assistance under this Agreement.

RETIREMENT SYSTEM STATUS. Contractor is not entitled under this Agreement to any Public Employees Retirement System benefits and will be responsible for payment of any applicable federal or State taxes. Contractor is not entitled under this Agreement to any benefits for payments of federal Social Security, employment insurance, or workers' compensation from the State of Oregon.

  • Retirement System The withdrawal of employee contributions made on or after January 1, 2014 may also be withdrawn but only on an actuarially neutral basis. The actuarial present value of the pension reduction shall be equal to the amount of accumulated member contributions withdrawn. The actuarial present value shall computed using the interest rate used in the annual actuarial valuation and the mortality table used in the annual actuarial valuation with a 50% unisex blend.

  • Public Employees Retirement System “PERS”) Members. For purposes of this Section 1, “employee” means an employee who is employed by the State on August 28, 2003 and who is eligible to receive benefits under ORS Chapter 238 for service with the State pursuant to Section 2 of Chapter 733, Oregon Laws 2003.

  • Retirement Program Any employee employed prior to October 1, 1977, working at least seventy (70) hours per month shall by law be a member of the Washington Public Employees Retirement system (PERS) Plan One. Any employee working at least seventy (70) hours per month, entering employment on or after October 1, 1977, shall by law be a member of the School Employees Retirement System, Plan Two or Three. The District shall provide each new employee information concerning PERS or SERS membership benefits.

  • Continuity of Service Except where there exists an emergency situation necessitating a more expeditious procedure, the Licensee shall use reasonable efforts to interrupt service for the purpose of Cable Communications System construction, routine repairing or testing the Cable System only during periods of minimum use. When necessary service interruptions can be anticipated, the Licensee shall notify Subscribers in advance via message on the community channel community bulletin board.

  • RETIREMENT PICK-UP 257. For the term of this Agreement, the CITY shall pick up the full amount of the employees’ contribution to retirement.

  • Education of Students with Disabilities 3.5.1. The DOE is the State of Hawaii's “state education agency” (SEA) and “local education agency” (LEA) for purposes of compliance with the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). All public schools, including charter schools, are part of and fall under the LEA. As such, the School shall comply with all applicable federal and State laws, rules, policies, procedures, and directives regarding the education of students with disabilities, including but not limited to Ch. 8-60, Hawaii Administrative Rules (HAR).

  • Employment Eligibility Verification As required by IC § 22-5-1.7, the Contractor swears or affirms under the penalties of perjury that the Contractor does not knowingly employ an unauthorized alien. The Contractor further agrees that:

  • Health Benefits Eligibility a. The State System shall provide an eligible permanent full-time active employee with health benefits. The State System shall provide permanent part-time employees who are expected to be in an active pay status at least fifty (50%) of the time every pay period with health benefits.

  • Oregon Public Service Retirement Plan Pension Program Members For purposes of this Section 2, “employee” means an employee who is employed by the State on or after August 29, 2003 and who is not eligible to receive benefits under ORS Chapter 238 for service with the State pursuant to Section 2 of Chapter 733, Oregon Laws 2003.
