RETIREMENT SYSTEM STATUS. Contractor is not a contributing member of the Public Employees’ Retirement System and is responsible for any federal or state taxes applicable to any comprehensive or payments paid to contractor under this contract. Contractor is not eligible for any benefits from these contract payments of federal Social Security, unemployment insurance, or workers compensation except as a self-employed individual.
