Publicity; Marketing. The OpenReq Knowledge Base is broadcasted to a wider audience through communication and dissemination activities of the project. The project communication and dissemination activities are described in general in Deliverable D8.1 Exploitation, Dissemination and Communication Plan. The D8.1 Exploitation, Dissemination and Communication Plan outlines the external communication channels available to the project as the project website with its news section, social media channels (Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube), publications and reports and direct communications with stakeholders like the Advisory Board. As the Knowledge Base is an expert and researcher-centric tool, the target audience is defined as researchers and requirements management professionals. Their interest in the Knowledge Base is easy access to essential requirements management related information. The Knowledge Base will be a topic of a news post on the OpenReq project website. After the first year, news items about the different types of content in the Knowledge Base (as described in the overview section of this document) will be posted as news items. Also a bi-annual review of what has been added will be posted as a news item. Items in the Knowledge Base will be posted as separate items in the project social media channels, for instance on Twitter and LinkedIn. As social media is more fast paced and the content is shorter, single items with links to the Knowledge Base will be posted. The Knowledge Base should also provide easy ways to share links to the content in the Knowledge Base by the people using it. Methods to post links from the content of the Knowledge Base to social media sites like Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn will be implemented. Organic sharing by users of the Knowledge Base is good for making the Knowledge Base more widely known. These activities are in line with the overall communication and dissemination structure of the project defined in Work Package 8.
