Professional Learning Cross functional Team—The charge of this committee is to support the system-wide vision of profes- sional learning that includes the design, imple- mentation, and monitoring of ongoing, high quality professional learning for all staff based on ARTICLE COLLABORATION student needs and system goals . The presidents or designees of each employee organization will serve on the Team and join designees from central services as identified in the approved charge statement . In addition a subcommittee designed to focus on the professional learning needs of MCEA unit members, will operate to provide input to the full Cross-functional Team and will include three (3) to six (6) additional MCEA members . .

Professional Learning Cross functional Team—The charge of this committee is to support the system-wide vision of professional learning that includes the design, implementation, and moni- toring of ongoing, high quality professional learning for all staff based on student needs and system goals. The presidents or designees of each employee organization will serve on the Team and join designees from central services as identified in the approved charge statement. In addi- tion, each association may identify a standing committee/group to assist and collaborate with the Professional Learning Cross-functional Team to provide input as appropriate on the topics and tasks before the Professional Learning Cross-functional Team. MCAAP’s standing committee shall be the Leadership Development Advisory Committee.

  • Training and Professional Development C. Maintain written program procedures covering these six (6) core activities. All procedures shall be consistent with the requirements of this Contract.

  • Professional Leaves 1. Professional Leaves are to be used by an employee to gain knowledge for the position contracted through Bath Local Schools. The employee must request Professional Leave through the employee kiosk. Upon approval, the employee may be permitted to attend the Professional Meeting and will be paid at the regular rate.

  • Professional Engineering and Architect’s Services Professional Engineering and Architect’s Services are not permitted to be provided under this Agreement. Texas statutes prohibit the procurement of Professional Engineering and Architect’s Services through a cooperative agreement.

  • Professional Leave Professional leave without pay will be granted to full-time and regular part- time employees who are elected to or appointed to the College of Nurses or the Registered Nurses Association of Ontario or the Registered Practical Nurses’ Association of Ontario to attend regularly scheduled meetings of the College of Nurses or the Registered Nurses Association of Ontario or the Registered Practical Nurses’ Association of Ontario subject to the following limitations:

  • Compensation and Professional Liability All Liability policies including Workers’ Compensation written on behalf of Consultant shall contain a waiver of subrogation in favor of County and members of Commissioners Court.

  • Labor-Management Cooperation When an Appointing Authority initiates a planning process or management study which is anticipated to result in layoff, the Appointing Authority will meet and confer with the Local Union during the decision planning phase and again during the implementation planning phase. The Appointing Authority and the Local Union shall enter into negotiations regarding a Memoranda of Understanding upon request of either party to modify this Agreement regarding the implementation plans which shall include, but are not limited to, the following: • Length of layoff notice; • Job and retraining opportunities; • Alternative placement methods; • Early retirement options pursuant to M.S. 43A.24, Subd. 2(i); • Bumping/vacancy options for part-time employees to preserve their insurance eligibility or contribution; and • Other methods of mitigating layoff or their effect on employees.

  • Professional Growth Professional growth is the continuous purposeful engagement in study and related activities designed to retain and extend the high standards of classified unit members.

  • Professional Development Reimbursement Management will provide reimbursement for approved professional development expenses for Lieutenants and Sergeants. Funds may be used for the purpose of improving job performance, maintaining and increasing proficiency, preparing Lieutenants and Sergeants for greater responsibility, or increasing promotional opportunities. Management must approve of the specific professional development request in advance. Denial will require written notification to the requesting Lieutenant or Sergeant.
