Port Living Wage Requirements. Permittee shall comply with all of the provisions of Section 728 of the Charter of the City and the Port’s living wage ordinance (the “Living Wage Law”). As a requirement of this Permit in addition to the Living Wage Law (the “Additional Requirement”), the Permittee shall provide or cause to be provided the same compensation, worker retention and other benefits required to be provided under the Living Wage Law to any employee of the Permittee who works at the Assigned Space regardless of the number of employees the Permittee may employ. By agreeing to the Additional Requirement, Permittee expressly acknowledges and agrees that it is waiving the provisions of Section 728 of the Charter of the City of Oakland which exempts workforces of fewer than 20 workers, and that the Additional Requirement is a material inducement for the Port in entering into this Permit.
Port Living Wage Requirements. Permittee shall comply with all of the provisions of Section 728 of the Charter of the City and Port Ordinance No. 3666, as amended by Port Ordinance No. 3719 (“Port Living Wage Ordinance”), as they may be amended from time to time, including by any successor ordinance (collectively, the “Living Wage Law”), unless exempt under Section 728 of the Charter of the City. The Port Living Wage Ordinance requires Port contractors to additionally provide their employees with a minimum of twelve (12) compensated days off per year.

  • LIVING WAGE REQUIREMENT Contractor shall comply with, and ensure its subcontractors performing work under this Contract comply with, Milwaukee Board of School Directors’ Administrative Policy 3.09(17), which requires that employees be paid a “living wage.”

  • Prevailing Wage Requirements California Labor Code and/ or Resolutions of the San Xxxx City Council require the payment of not less than the general prevailing rate of per diem wages and rates for holiday and overtime and adherence to all labor standards and regulations. The General Prevailing Wage Rates may be adjusted throughout the term of this Agreement. Notwithstanding any other provision of this Agreement, Contractor shall not be entitled to any adjustment in compensation rates in the event there are adjustments to the General Prevailing Wage Rates.

  • Age Requirement The employee must have reached the age of fifty-five (55) before reduction in workload.

  • Overtime requirements No contractor or subcontractor contracting for any part of the contract work which may require or involve the employment of laborers or mechanics shall require or permit any such laborer or mechanic in any workweek in which he or she is employed on such work to work in excess of forty hours in such workweek unless such laborer or mechanic receives compensation at a rate not less than one and one-half times the basic rate of pay for all hours worked in excess of forty hours in such workweek.

  • Time Requirements The Independent Contractor will not be required to follow or establish a regular or daily work schedule, but shall devote during the term of this Agreement the time, energy and skill as necessary to perform the services of this engagement and shall, periodically or at any time upon the request of the Company, submit information as to the amount of time worked and scope of work performed.

  • ON SITE REQUIREMENTS While on Purchaser’s premises, Contractor, its agents, employees, or subcontractors shall comply, in all respects, with Purchaser’s physical, fire, access, safety, and other security requirements.

  • DBE Requirements A. Notice is hereby given to the CONSULTANT and any SUB-CONSULTANT, and both agree, that failure to carry out the requirements set forth in 49 CFR Sec. 26.13(b) shall constitute a breach of this Contract and, after notification and failure to promptly cure such breach, may result in termination of this Contract or such remedy as INDOT deems appropriate.
