Software Requirements. Consultant’s software shall produce deliverables that are fully compatible, readable and useable by Agency (and LPA when applicable) software, requiring no modification or translation of Consultant’s deliverables. No loss of data integrity or accuracy shall result from any transfer of data. Compressed data shall be in a "self-expanding executable" format. To ensure this level of compatibility, Consultant and Agency may conduct tests of sample deliverables from Consultant, and Agency may provide sample or required format(s) to Consultant. Agency reserves the right to reject deliverables that do not meet these requirements. If a deliverable is rejected, Consultant shall resubmit deliverables to Agency that meet these requirements, and shall not xxxx Agency for the rejected deliverables or for time associated with correcting the rejected deliverables. Consultant shall deliver all work products in the format(s) required by Agency as may be specified in the PA or WOC. Consultant may propose alternative software for consideration by Agency. Software Requirements. The Contractor shall provide all software required to support the inmate telephone system. During the entire contract term, including any renewals, the software shall be the latest general release of the software including software for all equipment and monitoring terminals utilized in service delivery. Any software necessary for Department interface shall be provided at the expense of the Contractor, with no licensing fee to the Department. All software must be compatible with a minimum of a Windows XP operating system and must operate with Internet Explorer version 5.5, at a minimum. The Contractor shall provide all required software enhancements/upgrades to the system inclusive of service delivery. Beta and Field Tested Software shall not be provided unless specifically approved by the Department. Prior to any software upgrades or enhancements, the Contractor shall discuss the software benefits with the Department’s Contract Manager and the Office of Information Technology and proceed only with written approval.

Software Requirements. 6.1 All final drawings /document submittals that are reasonably likely to require updating over the life of the Project shall additionally be submitted in native electronic format to facilitate such future updates by Owner. Site-specific drawings provided in native format shall include the project master plan, the project single line, and trenching plans. Product-specific drawings will be provided in portable document format (*.pdf). Where possible, Contractor Submittals lists and manuals shall be provided with electronic search engines to facilitate ease of use, as commercially available.
