Contractor then needs to use a concrete repair material in accordance to the supplier’s specifications or the product MDS to repair the damaged areas. Note that concrete repairs are estimated at 2m³ of concrete and 60m² of vertical formwork. Once repair concrete has cured sufficiently according to the suppliers MDS, all surfaces need to be coated with a highly chemical resistance resin coating. High abrasion resistance. Applied by the wet or dry spray process for fast, exceptionally high-build repairs with enhanced characteristics. Compensates for shrinkage in the plastic and hardened phase. Constant quality and performance (pre-blended). Non-toxic. Contains no chloride. Chemical Resistant Resin Coating material must comply with the following properties: High chemical resistance not possible with standard epoxies May be used as a laminating resin For high chemical resistance screeding For sealing porous elements such as concrete and wood All proposed products must be submitted to the site engineer for approval. Once products have been approved, a detail method statement for application of these products must be submitted for approval.
