Common use of Personal Leave of Absence Clause in Contracts

Personal Leave of Absence. Written requests for a personal leave of absence without pay will be considered on an individual basis by the Employer’s designated representative. Such requests are to be made in writing to the Manager as far in advance as possible and in any event not less than fourteen (14) calendar days prior to the date of leave except in cases of an emergency. Such leave shall not be unreasonably withheld.
