Payment for a Statutory Holiday. A regular employee who works on a statutory holiday will receive an average day's pay as well as: one and one-half times the employee's regular wage for the time worked up to 12 hours, and double the employee's regular wage for any time worked over 12 hours.‌

Payment for a Statutory Holiday. Regular full-time employees will receive a normal days pay as defined in this agreement. Regular part-time employees shall receive a normal days pay.‌ For the purposes of this clause, a normal days pay shall be for all hours worked, exclusive of overtime for the last 30 days. An employee must have worked 15 or more days of the last 30 days prior to the statutory holiday to be eligible to receive a normal days pay. An employee who is scheduled by the Employer to work on a statutory holiday shall be paid one and one-half times their wage rate for any hours worked on a statutory holiday, in addition to the payment provided for in (c) above. An employee who works in excess of 12 hours on the statutory holiday shall be paid at double-time for all such additional hours worked. For the purpose of Clause 16.2(c) above, vacation will be considered a workday.

  • Statutory Holiday All time worked on such Statutory Holidays as are provided for in this Agreement shall be considered as overtime and shall be paid at two hundred percent (200%) of the employee's regular straight-time rate, or the employee may elect to be paid straight-time rates for the overtime hours and take an equal number of hours as time off. Such time off must be taken according to a schedule acceptable to the employee's Supervisor within thirty (30) days of the end of the pay period in which the overtime was worked.

  • Payment for Holidays (a) Regular Employees Regular employees shall not have their pay reduced by virtue of holidays specified in Article 16.01.

  • Payment for Working Overtime on a Holiday Where an employee is required to work authorized overtime in excess of his regularly scheduled hours on a paid holiday, such employee shall receive twice (2x) his regular straight time hourly rate for such authorized overtime.

  • Payment for Working on a Holiday (The following clause is applicable to part-time employees only) The holidays listed in the part-time local Appendix for the purposes of Article 16.03(b) shall be the same holidays as are listed in the full-time Local Provisions Appendix. If an employee is required to work on any of the holidays set out in the local Appendix the employee shall be paid at the rate of time and one-half (1-1/2) her regular straight time hourly rate of pay for all hours worked on such holiday.

  • Statutory Holiday Pay Employees who qualify for statutory holiday pay shall be paid an average day's pay on the Statutory Holidays above, based on the following: amount paid / days worked. “Amount paid” is the amount earned by the employee for work done during the thirty (30) calendars day period preceding the statutory holiday, including vacation pay but excluding overtime pay. “Days worked” is the number of days the employee worked or earned wages during that thirty (30) calendar day period.

  • Public Holiday 6.1 The Worker shall be entitled to public holidays in accordance with the labour laws in Malaysia.
