Paid Time to Working Time Full. Time and Part-Time Employees absent on approved leave paid by the Employer or by the Worker’s Compensation Board, shall for the purposes of computing overtime pay during the work schedule during which the absence occurred, be considered as having worked their regularly scheduled hours during such leave of absence. No pyramiding shall result from the application of this provision. The foregoing shall also apply in cases of short-term leaves of absence for Union business approved by the Employer under the applicable provisions of the Collective Agreement where payment is made to the employee by the Union.

Where the collective agreement provides otherwise and the parties cannot agree to the standard language, the existing provision will be maintained as non-standard language. Any non-standard provision related to Paid Time to Working Time is to be continued under 17.09. Paid Time to Working Time Full. Time and Part-Time Time paid by the Corporation for bereavement leave, sickness, paid holidays and paid vacations, is to be recognized as time worked for the purpose of calculation of overtime.

  • Recall to Work 5.6.2.1 An employee recalled to work overtime after leaving the company’s premises (whether notified before or after leaving the premises) will be paid for a minimum of three hours work at the appropriate rates for each time the employee is so recalled. Except in the case of unforeseen circumstances arising, the employee will not be required to work the full three hours if the job the employee was recalled to perform is completed within a shorter period.

  • Personal/Xxxxx’s Leave 7.3.1 All full time employees shall be entitled to accrue paid personal / carer's leave on the basis of 10 days per year (or pro-rata thereof for any period less than one year). Part-time employees are entitled to a pro-rata benefit. Paid personal / carer's leave is cumulative.

  • Time Devoted to Work In performing the services contemplated under this Agreement, the services and the hours Consultant is to work on any given day will be on a mutually agreed upon basis, except for attendance at scheduled meetings, and City will rely upon Consultant to put in such number of hours as is reasonably necessary to fulfill the spirit and purpose of this Agreement. The leave will be scheduled at times convenient to both the employee and the Employer. Nevertheless, the Employer shall make every reasonable effort to grant the leave at such times as the employee may request.

  • Personal Time Off Executive shall be entitled to paid time off in accordance with the Company’s policies applicable to executives.
