Nurse and Director. It is the desire of the parties to this Agreement that grievances be adjusted informally whenever possible and at the first level of supervision. If any nurse has a grievance, the nurse shall first discuss it with his or her director or designee within thirty (30) calendar days from the date the nurse was or should have been aware a grievance existed. The director or designee shall respond within ten (10) calendar days.

Nurse and Director. If the matter is not resolved through the attempted resolution with the nurse’s supervisor, the aggrieved nurse or the Association on behalf of the aggrieved nurse shall, within ten (10) days after receiving the supervisor’s response, present the grievance in writing to the nurse’s director. Notwithstanding the foregoing, in cases of documented discipline, the grievance must be presented within thirty calendar (30) days of the date that the nurse knew or should have known that a grievance exists. The grievance shall include a description of the problem, the contract provision(s) alleged to have been violated, and the remedy requested. The nurse and the director will confer in an attempt to resolve the grievance. The director shall issue a written reply within ten (10) days of the Step 1 meeting.
Nurse and Director. In the event the matter cannot be resolved informally, and it is the nurse's desire to proceed further, the nurse shall reduce the grievance to writing and submit it to the Director postmarked within seven (7) calendar days of the decision of Step 1. The written grievance shall contain a description of the alleged problem, the date it occurred, the provision of this Agreement allegedly violated, and the corrective action the grievant is requesting. A conference between the nurse, an Association representative, if requested by the nurse, and the Director shall then be held at a mutually agreeable time. The Director shall endeavor to resolve the grievance and shall respond in writing postmarked within seven (7) calendar days of the meeting with the grievant.

  • Consulting Teachers A. A Consulting Teacher is a permanent status unit member who provides assistance to a Participating Teacher and assists Probationary Teachers as a Support Provider as the caseload formula allows. Consulting Teachers shall possess the following qualifications:

  • Medical Director The Contractor shall employ the services of a Medical Director who is a licensed Indiana Health Care Provider (IHCP) provider board certified in family medicine or internal medicine. If the Medical Director is not board certified in family medicine, they shall be supported by a clinical team with experience in pediatrics, behavioral health, adult medicine and obstetrics/gynecology. The Medical Director shall be dedicated full-time to the Contractor’s Indiana Medicaid product lines. The Medical Director shall oversee the development and implementation of the Contractor’s disease management, case management and care management programs; oversee the development of the Contractor’s clinical practice guidelines; review any potential quality of care problems; oversee the Contractor’s clinical management program and programs that address special needs populations; oversee health screenings; serve as the Contractor’s medical professional interface with the Contractor’s primary medical providers (PMPs) and specialty providers; and direct the Quality Management and Utilization Management programs, including, but not limited to, monitoring, corrective actions and other quality management, utilization management or program integrity activities. The Medical Director, in close coordination with other key staff, is responsible for ensuring that the medical management and quality management components of the Contractor’s operations are in compliance with the terms of the Contract. The Medical Director shall work closely with the Pharmacy Director to ensure compliance with pharmacy-related responsibilities set forth in Section 3.4. The Medical Director shall attend all OMPP quality meetings, including the Quality Strategy Committee meetings. If the Medical Director is unable to attend an OMPP quality meeting, the Medical Director shall designate a representative to take his or her place. Notwithstanding the Medical Director ‘s sending of a representative, the Medical Director shall be responsible for knowing and taking appropriate action on all agenda and action items from all OMPP quality meetings.

  • Quality and Discipline of Employees The Contractor shall at all times enforce strict discipline and good order among his employees and shall not employ on the work any unfit person or anyone not skilled in the work assigned to him.

  • Director An Approved User who is generally a senior IT official of the Requester with the necessary expertise and authority to affirm the IT capacities at the Requester. The IT Director is expected to have the authority and capacity to ensure that the NIH Security Best Practices for Controlled-Access Data Subject to the NIH GDS Policy and the Requester’s IT security requirements and policies are followed by all of the Requester’s Approved Users.

  • DISCIPLINE AND DISMISSAL 6.8.1 The following principles are to be followed when dealing with disciplinary matters:

  • Executive Director (a) The HMO must employ a qualified individual to serve as the Executive Director for its HHSC HMO Program(s). Such Executive Director must be employed full-time by the HMO, be primarily dedicated to HHSC HMO Program(s), and must hold a Senior Executive or Management position in the HMO’s organization, except that the HMO may propose an alternate structure for the Executive Director position, subject to HHSC’s prior review and written approval.

  • Justice and Dignity The Parties agree that in certain situations, it may be in the best interest of both Employer and employees that employees be reassigned or removed from all job sites during an investigation of conduct. In cases where an employee cannot be reassigned, the employee shall be considered to be on a leave of absence without loss of pay until the Employer makes a decision relative to imposing discipline.

  • Health and Diet Counseling This plan covers diabetes and nutritional counseling in accordance with state and federal laws, when prescribed by a physician and provided by either a physician or an appropriately licensed, registered or certified counselor.
